Coach thanks for your advice on my room. I think the fact I have been recovering actively from Plantar Faciitis has me a little scared to commit to something....but I am making the res! Its too good a rate not to hold. Do you have any advice for training with the foot issue. I haven't been to my podiatrist since initial diagnosis in April and I know if its starts to bother me I need to see a doctor, just looking for your advice on training. Right now Week 8 on C25k. I will do a Galloway program to prepare for the 1/2....as I add on miles I am nervous, but know I just need to be very conservative. I think the fact i am in "active recovery" is amazing, in the past I would have used ANY excuse not to exercise....
I stretch religiously after each run and another time during the day.....runner's stretch, flex foot with towel stretch and ankle alphbet rolls. I am thinking of doing a Yogalattes class in addtion to my running to help strengthen my body and stretch out. Any advice from to you help me is appreciated.
I know you aren't a doctor, just looking for advice you can give runner to runner. Really appreciate your encouragement and all the posts you do!
