Thanks for posting that. Adorable... What an amazing trip they had, and so much fun! Loved it!!!

Hi everyone...We will be attending the Party on 9/20. It is our 1st time and not sure what to expect. Do alot of people dress up? I can not decide if I want to dress up or not.....mixture of wanting to be in the Halloween Party mood to will I feel like everyone is looking at me!! HELP....I need your input!!!

You will be fine either way, there are tons of adults who do dress up and plenty who don't... You should dress up, cause it's the only time Disney will allow adults into their parks in costume, so why not go all out? :)

I admit, I am not caught up on this thread.

Have any of the parties sold out? What about an early leak of the party map? :flower3:

for those of you debating dressing up or not....DO IT...it is so much fun! we went to the Halloween party in DLR back in 2008, my DH and I were pirates and my DD dressed up as Elizabeth Swan....its the only time you get to dress up, even if its simple, have fun with it and enjoy!

I bought that trick or treat shirt from taget tonight for the party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

:yay:Hooray!!!!:yay:

I got mine too. A co-worker sent me a text when we put them out so I could run in and get one. I don't feel bad about not dressing up now. :goodvibes

I also got the same t-shirt from Target! It was just too hot and miserable last year (late Sept) with our costumes.

I was going to use this to decorate our door at SSR. There might not be a front window for our villa, but balconies, so I figured I'd decorate the door, but then my DSIL was like, "Don't you think someone will steal it? It's very cute and easily takeable." :scared1: I wouldn't care but it took my friend a long time to make these for me & I would hate it if some ******* took it. WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO SUCK!:headache: I guess we are going to decorate just the inside of our villa.

Does anyone know the answers to these questions? I think I read somewhere that they sell up to 10,000 tickets for a MNSSHP - does anyone know what a full capacity regular disney day (such as Christmas Day) is? Just trying to get an idea of how busy a sold out crowd really is for a MNSSHP. pirate:

What if you made color copies of them to decorate the door with?? Then used the real ones inside, that way if someone stole them, it wouldn't be quite as upsetting??? I'm always worried someone is gonna steal my door decorations on DCL, but it has yet to happen to us... But I know people it has happened to, but I put my name and date on all of mine. Lol, that way no one wants it. :)

I *THINK* sold out for MNSSHP is more lke 20-25k tickets... but sold out at MK is way, way, WAY more... I'm not sure if there is an exact number as it'd depend on other factors, if you google it, most people say 90-100k is sold out, with 75k in the parking lot... I was thinking it was like 60k to be max capacity... Either way, MNSSHP is way less!!! Even on a sold out night, it still feels much less busy than any peak time at the parks. EXCEPT for when you want to watch the first parade, that can feel sorta crazy. :)

I have been to 2 sold out Christmas parties. I"m quite sure the number is higher than 10K. More like 20 or 25K. They don't announce it, so I've always thought it was a moving target.

Even though capacity for the MK is far higher, a sold out night will indeed feel very crowded. This is because most who pay for the ticket don't do so to ride what they can for no extra during the day. They are there to see the fireworks and parade. So everyone is on Main Street.

Even on a sold out night, ride lines are very short for this same reason.

Sold out will FEEL sold out. But if you know that going in , set priorities, and don't expect to do it all.... you can still have fun. Just don't expect to walk up at the last minute and get a curbside seat for the parade. Even the second parade will be busy.

Would I still go? Absolutely! I"m sure one of the parties we're attending this December will also be sold out.

Thanks, I like that idea. Color copies will work just fine. :goodvibes

That video truly is the cutest thing ever. I've been trying not to watch too many videos, because I want to be surprised, since it's our first trip, but I'm glad I clicked that one!

Got Mickey Mail today  our MNSSHP tickets came!

one has Mickey, the other Goofy and "Let the memories Begin" on the top so wish they were halloweenish though.

Anytime!!! I would definitely want those on my doors!!! Too cute, but yeah, I'd be mad if someone took them too!!! Glad to help! :thumbsup2
