Offical free dining watch 2008

We've already made Ressies for about a month now with cash down for the deposit. Is it possible if using the code for DxDDP upgrade that they'll just take the code and not ask for the visa card?

No, ASMU FS have never been included in the free dining promotion. You can just call and check but be prepared to change resorts or change into 2 rooms. The Deluxe plan will not be free but with free dining you would pay about what the regular dining plan would cost or get the deluxe plan for about 1/2 off.

Yes ~ call in the morning and don't allways believe what a CM may tell you. What you get tomorrow is what you will get. As far as resort choice that will change alot over the next few weeks so if you don't get what you want in the morning then keep trying till you do, you never know!

You are the voice of reason and the inducer of calm.

Maybe someone will be willing to post the codes after midnight Eastern time, since that is "officially" the 7th and then no one would "technically" get into trouble for releasing them. ;)

I bet you already knew the answer to this when you asked it, you clever thing. Yep, you guessed it: I bet Visa wants you to use your VISA for the down payment, just like the tiny little print says*. BUT, they probably will just deduct the cash cost from your total trip cost.

I'm always willing to say I'm wrong, and could very well be about this.

*The small print I'm referring to is imaginary, but I'm sure actually exists on the real offer. (grin)

:scared1: Calm if you could just see me right now. I need to go to bed, I need to get up in the morning, I need these codes, I am so afraid if I turn this computer off it will not come back on in the morning, if I leave it on it will lock up, if I fall asleep will I wake up, my dh is going to kill me

whew !!!!

 So much for trying. :rotfl:

I'm trying to be sneaky about it, but they have ME fooled :rotfl2: Thanks for the answer though.

AYG is suppose to be the code for the Disney Visa Free dining promo! Someone had posted that a few dys ago who's mother is a travel agent so i assume that is it not 100% since it was not told to me directly but it was posted on these boards so I assume that is what she was told it was! No code yet for the GP Promo!

Will the general code and the Visa code be the same?
Or will we need to look out for a new code on Thurday.

Good luck everyone!!! I am going to attempt sleep now......to dream of Disney food I think :lmao:

Good question I guess we will find out shortly!!! Some nice Disney Visa card holder could ask for those of us that do not have one that would be great! So I'm sure we shall start to see something tommorrow!

Last year the codes were not the same. There was one code on disney's website for the general public. Another code in our local newspaper-also for the general public but different from the Visa cardholders code and different still from the one on Disney's site.

Then the code that was posted on mousesavers was different from all of those.

When I and my boyfriend called(we had 2 different ressies) to get free dining last year we were asked for the code. The CMs we talked to both told us that they needed the code to give us the discount.

Why the different codes? I'm sure it's so that Disney can tell where people are getting the codes from so they know which form of advertising has served them best.

I'm not stressing over it at all. I will just wait until the codes come out. Kind of glad I'm not a Visa cardholder as that gives us general public folks a few days heads up after they announce it for you guys.

Good luck to everyone though.

If I can remember to ask about the GP code, I will and will post back in the morning (or whenever I'm no longer on hold!). I will probably still be asleep and so nervous to get it all done that I will forget my own name. I mean, these CMs just don't know what they are in for with us tomorrow, do they?! :rotfl:

Well, if you get the FD then they'll be paying for it (I know, I know, we probably really pay for it in the mix but at least it's a break) and YOU'LL have fooled them :thumbsup2

Does anyone know how many rooms you can book with the visa code for free dining? I have a party of 10 and will need to book two rooms.

I kept hearing 3, but when I asked my TA at AAA, he said 4 was no problem, and called a CM to ask. They said it was fine. Then, a member of my party called and asked, still fine. Then I , still not convinced ,called Disney and asked, still 4 rooms, no problem.:confused3

Just wanted to send good luck and pixie dust to all the Visa callers for tomorrow morning:wizard:
I still have to wait until Thursday...but I hope everything goes well for all of you tomorrow:grouphug:

THANK YOU! If I'm lucky enough to get everything settled tomorrow then I'll post back so that those waiting until Thursday might have some clues based on our (DV holders) experience.

Good luck back to you!

Last year it was three, but it would be just as easy to book seperate reservations if needed. Either way, you'll end up with 4 rooms. :thumbsup2
