Offical free dining watch 2008

No, your ADR's are based on your phone number and you don't even have to have a reservation to get ADR's.

Only to do the 10+ day ADRs? And even then, they are still attached to your phone number?

Thanks so much. I am sure you will hear a big sigh of relief from many, many people tonight. :thumbsup2

When I made the adr's it was a split reservation for two different resorts and they asked me where I was staying for my dates. Linda :)

They do ask you that for their records (I guess to see if you can do the 180 + 10), but if ADR's were attached to your room reservation, then offsite people couldn't make ADR's.

Bumping my question :)
I read somewhere on here that people were offered the deluxe dining for 30 something a day with the bounceback offer. So, it was basically the deluxe dining price minus the basic dining plan price and thats what they were paying.

Ok this is gonna sound so stupid to you guys lol....how is it that you add free dining. I am going to book Sept 14-19 (I'm book for Oct 19-24, but i am changing it tomorrow) do i just ask for it....or do i have to call on a certain day? Any help would be awesome

You could'nt book it till Monday the 7th if you have a disney visa, otherwise you have to wait till Thursday the 10th when it's released to the general public. Linda :)

I really wish that I could catch more of a deal than AAA on just one of our trips this year! Our September dates are 09/26 to 09/30.

I have zero discount on my April stay. I have AAA on December. I am hoping to get something for September.

Well can i book my ressie w.dining tomorrow and then call on the 10th to ask for free dining? or do i have to wait all together? And is Deluxe dining allowed to be FD?

Yes, I would recommend that you book now and you dont have to add the dining option if you are going to call for free dining on the 10th. Just book now then call when its time and the CM will add the promo on for you. :) I dont think deluxe is included for fd.

Anyone know if this at least 95% true? If so, I have to get cracking on planning where to stay, ADR's, day by day itinarery, which shows at what times, etc. Yes I am an accountant who has to plan and analyze everything before I do it! It is scary. :rolleyes1

I saw somewhere in this thread that it was going to be for moderates, not values. Is this true?

No one really knows at this time. That thought came from the fact that the people in the UK had to book moderate or higher, but some say that was the UK travel agents doing, not Disney's. Plus people who booked the bounce back program while at WDW last Sept were able to get the Values, so who knows?:confused3

I am with you! We have a AAA package with Deluxe Dining for 9/27-10/1 and no discounts at all for our 12/23-12/28 trip. But, after as many discounts as we have had over the years I guess I really shouldn't complain. I am still holding out hope for a great AP discount either of those times!

This might not be the place to post this...but -
We have never booked the free dining - isn't it awfully confusing, with where you can eat, how many credits, and all that jazz?
We are currently booked at the Poly from Aug. 22-31. DH doesn't want me to look into the dining - but you are all so hyped up on it! There must be something that I am missing - except for the obvious - free food!
We are 2 adults (well, 3, including DS12), and DS8. We enjoy some sit-downs and some cs meals. We are currently holding ADRs for Primetime (2x), Whispering Canyon, Rose n' Crown, Chef Mickey's, Kona Cafe, Le Cellier and Stitch breakfast at Ohana - most of these are lunches except 2 breakfast and 2 dinners.
Can someone be so kind as to tell me if I should pursue the free dining? We are Disney Visa card holders, and are thinking of AP's if the discount is big enough!
Thanks - and sorry for my ignorance (or laziness?!) :confused3
