Offical Big Brother 10 Thread--Spoilers Welcome

I totally agree about Jerry - I think it's admirable for ANYONE to be in the military, but he does play it up way too much. I would think he was a 5-star general the way he talks! Especially back when he took off his marine cap when he want against his word (won't even go into the way he treated Dan when he took off his cross!). I would think he'd be more inclined to apologize to his family, who he's been with his whole life, than the marines, where he spent 4 years. Just my opinion.

here's his bio - ..... He describes himself as liking to touch, being fair and considerate.

His birth date is March 13, 1933.

Remember when he felt up April?? Guess he does like to touch!!! :rotfl2:

Jerry is a dirty old man.

Sunday night on BBAD, Keesha, Renny, Dan and Memphis were all a little tipsy and they had me laughing out loud.
Renny was teasing Keesha about how when Keesha was exercising that night, Jerry was learing at her rear end. The four of them were playing with Playdough and Renny was making the male anatomy out of it and pretending she was Jerry watching Keesha exercise!
Keeesha was running away from Renny screaming and laughing.
It was too funny!

has he said on the show he's a col? or are they just calling him that? and if he loved the marines so much why only 4 years? isn't that the minimum?

He is most certainly not a Col. I imagine he was enlisted. I guess the HG just decided to call him that as they often give each other nicknames. He was in for only 4 years but really plays it up like it was his life. He really should not have taken the title of an officer if he was not one. It almost borders on impersonating an officer.

I goggled and found some comments about this here:

Just curious, when did this happen and does anyone have video of the HG's talking about it? I don't doubt that it did happen, I just never saw the actual event or the aftermath. The first time I saw anyone mention it was when Memphis and Jerry got into that fight in the HOH room.

Jerry felt up April the very first episode, right after the HGs entered the house. They were asking April if they were fake or not and she offered everyone a squeeze. Jerry jumped right in there!

Oh! Of course, now I remember that. For some reason I was under the impression that it happened another time, like against April's wishes. I have no idea why!:confused3 Thanks for clarifying!!

April went around asking everybody to touch them. Jerry wasn't the only one who took her up on it. (It is on youtube.)

No, he wasn't and I think everyone was just feeling a little giddy after just arriving at the house. No big deal. In fact, I liked Jerry in the beginning, it's just been watching him hop from alliance to alliance, and always kind of on the outside, but I just think he's a nasty person. It all started with his over reaction and calling Dan "Judas." That did it for me....

He was only in for 4 years and is most certainly NOT a Colonel. He is not a good Rep. for the services is he!?:sad2:
I am in no way sticking up for Jerry (I cannot stand the man) but being married to a Marine who served in Viet Nam, I can tell you that 'once a Marine, always a Marine' is something they truly believe.

I've spent the last 38 yrs listening to 'Ooh-ra'! and not always at the most delicate of times. :rolleyes1

Just to go OT for a minute........today is my oldest son's 21st birthday ( I don't know how that's possible when I'm still just 29 ;) ).

Get out! How in the world is that possible? :confused3

Happy 21st to your son!

I agree. My father was in the Marines from 1960-1964. And those four years made a huge impact on his life. I was very proud of his service and he was a Marine through and through until the day he died. He wasn't a very big man, but he was a tough sonofa*****. And anybody that met him wasn't surprised that he was a Marine. And having said that...he never, ever would have allowed someone else to call him Colonel if it wasn't a rank he earned. It really bothers me that Jerry allows that.

I believe everybody except Dan and Libra did it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds about right. And don't forget April was going down the line ASKING people to do it on the 1st day! (I'm not a Jerry fan, just noticed that he wasn't the only one.)

I'm by no means defending Jerry, but it wasn't a sexual thing at all, it was more curiosity. Heck, I remember the first time a friend of mine got fake ones, we all did the same! :rotfl2:

That is pretty cool. My DD turn 21 in 10 days and I am only 25. :confused3
