Offical Big Brother 10 Thread--Spoilers Welcome

Dan won the third part of the HOH competition - he evicted Jerry.

They showed the Jury House. ugh! April & Michelle were ugly talking about Keesha - then when she showed up, they were very cool toward her.

It appears that both Keesha & Jerry now realize that Dan & Memphis have been in this together.

I am with you Jackdis---it was SO sad when Julie asked him about taking care of his wife sick with Parkinsons and he had a tear rolling down his cheek. I have already voted for him about 100 times.

You're wasting your time doing all that repeated voting.

From the rules on the right side of the online voting page:
A maximum of 8 votes per person per day. Votes for tonight’s episode will be accepted until 11:59:59 PM PT on Monday 9/15/08.

What kind of pouty, hissy fit/temper tantrum is Michelle gonna have when she finds out that America didn't vote for her to win $25,000??? I hope they build it up like she is gonna win it and then pull it out right from under her.:lmao: Sorry...that sounds mean doesn't it. :goodvibes I just can't help it...I can't stand her.

So far. Sometime tomorrow we should start getting the first of it then the eye should hit around midnight.

aaargh. because of stupid Ike there was nothing but news on tonight, no BB. what happened??
You guys...stay safe. Keep checking in to let us know that you and your families are okay.

Ahhh...to all the BB10er's suffering with IKE...prayers and hugs!!!

Stay safe and keep us updated. :grouphug:

I think Renny will win the fan favorite prize, but I'm hoping Keesha is at least second place and Julie announces it so that April and Michelle know they are not America's sweethearts.

Memphis and Dan must be having a wonderful time, no pressure at all. They can finally just hang out together and goof off, no more pretending they can't stand one another.

I was laughing so hard during the competition for HOH that they aired last night, all those things Dan was saying to Memphis. :lmao: He kept saying about him sticking a knife in people's backs. Oh my gosh, Memphis looked like he was about to bust up laughing! :rotfl2:

For once I don't really care all that much who wins, I'd like it to be Dan but I like Memphis too. :thumbsup2

Did you guys ever watch Big Brother After Dark on Showtime, the live feeds or go to websites that report what happens on the feeds? The real Jerry was the polar opposite of the "sweet grandpa" edit he is getting on CBS

YES! I was not falling for that "aw shucks" kinda talk he was doing with Julie on the couch. I can't stand him. Watching BBAD showed a WHOLE other side to Jerry and it is disgusting for a man of any age to behave the way he has.

No kidding! He spoke so badly about people in the house. Specifically Dan, Memphis, and Keesha. He was not this nice elderly grandpa!!

I know I think deep down he is a wonderful person, I know he did some cruddy things in the game, but I bet being locked up in that house made them all do stuff they regret.
Seriously? He wasn't in the house an hour an he was feeling April's ****s. You can't blame that on the house. And his speech about "I never betrayed anyone EXCEPT for Brian" like it was OK for him to betray Brian, but it's not OK for anyone else. He's a big jerk as far as I'm concerned, I really hope he doesn't win the money.

But he was forced into that; I love how he qualified it. The only reason he made it as far as he did was because he wasn't a threat and could be beat at any time. His time of 55+ minutes in his last challenge was proof of that.

I feel that this was an excellent season.

I liked Dan from the beginning. His diary room visits were usually very informative about what he was thinking and planning to do. It was very agreeable to hear Dan announce a plan, and then execute it. Far too often a houseguest would simply vent during diary room sessions, and announce that they will 'get' so and so.

If Dan can convince the jury (or four members) to award him the money, he will go down in my book as the second greatest BB player (Will is still No. 1, since he won once, and almost won All-Stars (but was content to see Mike Boogie, his friend and business partner, win it)).

Memphis: I liked him a lot, although he did spend the first half of the season 'under the radar'. I liked his even temperment.

$25,000.00: I guess I would vote for Jerry. I thought Jerry would be out within the third week of the season and kudos to him for final three. I do NOT want April, Libra, Ollie or Michelle to win the money.

I'm also glad the finale is on Tuesday: too often BB (and Amazing Race, coming up) is screwed up on Sunday evenings during football season, due to games running 'long' (hint to CBS: all football games last more than 3 hours nowadays; all).

I completely agree with all of this quote. I have thought that Dan's gameplay was EXCELLENT from early on, and that he is only second to Will in the history of American BB. He planned and executed brilliant (IMO) moves that got him all the way to the end. I believe he is the only one who truly deserves to win from this season.

The secret alliance with Memphis was also brilliant, just like mentioned a few pages earlier with Danielle and that hottie from season 3...I keep forgetting his name.

Oh, and I haven't been reading this thread until today, so forgive my drive-by posting. I just thought legalsea was worthy of quoting.

More on Dan: my wife pointed out to me last night that for the first half of the season Dan had kept stating that he was purposely not winning head of house competitions. Then came the week when he said "All right, now it has gotten to the point where I have to start winning HOH to stay in the game", and he proceeded to do just that: 3 HOH and I guess a couple of veto thingys. Simply great play.

Most disappointing player of the season: Angie. On day one, in her introductory spot, she announced that she was recently divorced and that she was going to use her sex appeal to drive her forward in the game.

Ah, but all she did was sit on that outdoor couch. She simply sat. No gameplay. No sex appeal or flirting towards the men, no nothing. It might as well have been a plastic Barbie doll on the couch. She could have at least smiled at someone.

Yes, he really thought out his moves well before he played them. If he doesn't win, I'll be pretty upset with the jurors that they are not recognizing the brilliant player that he is.

Plus, I think Dan is very likeable. Although his Diary Room voice is too loud.

I agree. If they don't vote for him it will be for petty reason. I do think that Memphis played a good game as well, but not as strategic as Dan.

I was ready to dislike Dan after reading his bio on the CBS site. They made it sound as if he was going in to push his view on people. In fact, it seemed to be just the opposite.

I got to watch last nights show online. It was pretty good except where the parts where I had to see April (where is that barfy smilie when you need him?).

We are already getting winds from the storm and flooding on Galveston island.

Those 8 votes per day are only for texting. There is no limit on online voting.

Rule #3 posted on the CBS site: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/polls/terms_and_condition.php

3. Big Brother Description: During the Voting Period, viewers of the Big Brother television program will be asked to answer a poll type question. The announcer will invite viewers to vote either by sending in a text message on their text messaging capable mobile phone or by going online at www.cbs.com/bigbrother. There is a maximum of eight (8) votes per day using the text message method of voting and eight (8) free votes online per day for a possible total of 40 votes per voting method.

(using both methods and voting each day the poll runs would come to a MAXIMUM of 80 votes total.{and you'd be giving CBS $40 for those 40 text messages!} )
