WOW....no comments on tonight's show????? The only one I remotely liked was George..but that's also one of my favorite songs.

No one especially blew me away tonight. But here's how I voted: once for Jon Peter Lewis, once for George Huff, twice for Suzi Vuluca, and three times for Jennifer Hudson.

I think George is like another Ruben. The judges and a lot of people seem to love him, but I don't get it! I didn't really have a favorite tonight, but I thought a few of them were good. John Stevens is already in so it doesn't matter to me who else gets in, as long as it's not Leah! I did hear a few rumors though, that the reason they dismissed the 4 is because 3 of them are judges picks, and they didn't want votes wasted on them since they were already through. They did say there was gonna be a twist so I don't know if that's it or not.

I thought the judges picked from the 8 that sang NOT from all 12. That really wouldn't be fair if any of the 4 that didn't sing got to go through as judges picks. I was not blown away by any of them tonight. I don't know how any of you feel, but I think that working with a vocal coach has actually changed some of them for the worse. And who picks the songs for them...some of them are so obviously wrong for them to sing. If I got home in time to vote I think I would have voted for Suzy V.

I voted for Jennifer tonight. I have to agree with the judges about her outfit though...I thought the dress made her look like a drag queen (no offense, anyone).

My daughter still thinks that Jon Peter is good. I think he's got personality, I just don't think he sings all that well. Anyway, I hope he gets through because at least he's entertaining in a comical sort of way. Seems like a nice kid.

We really wanted to like Katie Webber, but she just didn't perform well and hasn't on the occasions we saw her. I really thought her "jazz" performance early on was better than last night.

I think Jennifer Hudson, our Disney Cruise girl will be in for sure. Susy was good and George, too. The rest are all just a blur. I guess I just wasn't bowled over by any of the hopefuls last night. Too bad really, there just isn't anyone that we've latched onto yet either. No one really excites us.

Did anybody have any trouble with FOX last night? At first the sound would come and go and then we lost it. It came back approx. 20 minutes into the show. We always have trouble with FOX when AI is on.

I really don't like the pen salesman. I used to think he was a good singer but now I just find him to be very annoying and think he has a terrible voice. I also didn't like Jennifer Hudson, the last girl to sing. I thought Suzy Vulaca did a good job last night along with Katie Webber. I wasn't crazy about Elizabeth or George. I think Matthew is a little boring but ok. As for Leah, I can't decide if I like her singing or not. Sometimes I think she sounds good and then there's times when I hope she doesn't get voted in. I'm curious to see tonight's show to find out the results.

What was the deal with Randy's comment on the gal who was first voted off (can't remember her name but she has long brown hair??) anyway, said she probably had the best voice in the competition kind of like Kelly C but sorry you are not moving on. What was the deal? Get her hopes up then shoot her down. I really liked her too.

All of the others were ok. Nothing fabulous. Did like George tonight and the last girl. But didnt like her facials. My dd said she makes cheerleader faces!! (the ones you must use in competition)

I can't really see matthew getting through. Yep he's cute, but he reminds me of the guy in school who gets picked to sing in the school plays, but really doesn't have much of a vocal range.

Oh I totally agree. But there are a lot of young girls out there who think he is "hot" quote from my 16 yr old. And I bet they text and call. I'm too old to stay up late trying the phone lines all night. I can't see his voice getting him thru the competiton.

Last night was very weird. Why did they bring twelve back, only to humiliate 4 of them by parading them on the stage and saying, "sorry, bye bye"??? And I really think Lisa (the red head) out sang almost everyone. I do wonder if some of those 4 will be the judges picks, they didn't specify if they were going home or if they were just not singing last night.

I can't stand Jon Peter or Matthew. I hope he does not make it through just cuz he's cute, cuz I don't think he sings well at all.

The only ones I liked last night were George and Jennifer. I don't like Jennifers eye makeup, but she sang great last night.

I agree, the song choices for most of these people are terrible, that vocal coach should be fired. That Whitney Houston song for Katie was horrible, she did so much better with the jazz song from week 1.

We lost power for over an hour last night so we only got to see the last 20 minutes. But they didn't seem to be that great during the recap at the end. I really wanted to vote for Elizabeth, since she is from my hometown, but she just didn't seem that great! Is it just me?? And I agree about the cheerleader face on Jennifer Hudson... what's up with that??................P

I liked Leah, and Jennifer and George!

I thought Simon said some strange things to was it Suzi? Like people will vote for her because of her looks, etc. I think that he votes for some of them because of their looks.

I'm glad you all agree about the poor song choices. I actually think some of them sounded worse last night than they ever have before. Especially Katie Weber. She has a fantastic voice, but the song last night sounded too low for her or something. Maybe they need a new vocal coach!

I liked Suzy and Jennifer the best, and the rest were all about the same to me. There's something I just don't like about Leah, but I can't put my finger on it.

She looks like she has attitude. There is also a quality in her voice I don't like, but I can't explain it.

I Haven't been really impressed with any of them this year. Maybe as they perform more, someone will appear.

I also thought it was cruel to get rid of four of the contestants right there on the stage. I really felt bad for Lisa.
