Offer for a Nissan Armada 2010 was excepted!

I feel like we got a really good deal. According to Edmunds, dealer retail is $31400, we are paying $31500 out the door (tax and license included). They were asking 29,999 plus tax and license which would be over 4k.

This is good right? PLEASE SAY YES!


Anyway, I'm a worrier and it would make me feel better to have an extended warranty. Would you recommend purchasing from the dealer (it is not a nissan dealer) or is there an somewhere that I can do this outside the dealer?

It has 31k miles on it by the way.

It's a done deal, so enjoy your new ride. But extended warranties are cheaper on your own, you can google a bunch of them

It's an ok offer. You've already accepted the deal so don't try to rethink it now you'll just drive yourself crazy.

You know don't fret over it if it's a done deal. Focus on the fact that you got a great new ride. We bought a Nissan Quest earlier this year and I love love it.

I am the warranty clerk at a Toyota Dealership. That means I deal with all of the extended warranty claims. PLEASE be careful what you buy from someone other than a dealer.

If you dont buy the extended warranty from the dealer make sure to compare what the dealer offers and what you find on your own. Compare what each warranty covers, whether they have a deductible you must pay per repair, if it has rental car coverage and if the repair facility (nissan store or not) that you plan to use actually accepts the other warranty. SOMETIMES when you buy an extended warranty that isnt from a dealer you are required to pay for the repairs yourself and then the extended warranty company reimburses you.

If you are a member of a credit union contact them to get a quote on a service contract. Most all credit unions sell them and at reduced prices from a dealer. They may even give you a loan to purchase it or you can pay cash.

I bought an extended warranty through a dealership, and it was worthless when we actually needed it. They wouldn't fix our problem.
