I made an offer today for BCV contract which was accepted. I'm wondering how long it might be until closing If all goes smoothly?

I'm mid-process, waiting on closings docs. Got an email that I should get them in the next 3-4 business days today.

6/21 offer accepted
6/25 sent to Disney for ROFR
7/17 notified that Disney waived their ROFR
7/26 waiting on closing docs (3-4 business days)

On track to close in August some time.:)

I have the same ROFR date and 7/26 notification! I can't wait!

Good Luck! We just got our offer accepted for BWV yesterday. I'm hoping to get everything done before our Oct trip so we can get our APs. I keep checking my email.pixiedust:

It typically takes between two and three months from offer to closed and in the system.

60 days from offer to close depending on the seller. Florida requires that all persons on deed sign with 2 witnesses in front of a Notary. That can cause delays depending on location and work schedules.

Is this to be done by buyers or sellers too? We've got a notary at work so it's easy peasy for me. But who knows about sellers.

Sellers for sure, direct contracts only if there is a mortgage, resale buyers, I will need to pull our docs.

Got the closing documents email. For buyers it is easy-peasey. Print docs, sign, get cashiers check, overnight signed docs and cashiers check back to title co. :)

Me too! Are you going to try FEDEX them back today? Or wait until Monday? I feel as though our seller may not be in as big of a rush as we are. :sad2:

I don't think I can make it to the bank today. Tomorrow morning I should be able to get the cashiers check. Probably send everything out tomorrow too. I'm sure it won't get back to the title co until Tuesday. My sellers seem pretty on the ball so it should go quickly. :)

Got my closing docs today too! I've got to run over to the bank to get the check before heading to work.

I will do the same thing. DH can't sign them until tonight anyway. I think this has gone much more quickly than I expected.

Now that's a nice problem to have! Congrats to all three of you on your imminent closings!

Just a word to the wise. Make sure you send your stuff sig required not just delivery confirmation and make sure the place is open when it arrives. We sent our stuff in on thursday. Used priority not express and delivery confirmation not signature required. Both my fault for using generic terms when I ask my wife to mail it while I was at work. Monday called to check no check at the title company. ran search with PO it was delivered saturday. The office was not open on saturday. Got back in touch with the Title company Tuesday morning still no check. Ask Wife to contact bank about canceling check. Check turned up "In another part of the building." Not a pleasant evening wondering if you have a lost check for thousands of dollars. Anyway everything worked out but lesson learned. There is a difference between priority mail and express mail and delivery confirmation is not signature required. Every copier is not a xerox machine.:)
