Off topic...but have to share some good news!!

As some of you know, I tore something in my knee a few weeks ago (the meniscus) and am two weeks past surgical repair. Today, at physical therapy, I pedaled all the way around on the stationary bike, many many times!!!! I finally feel like I am making some progress!!! I may actually walk again without the aid of crutches or a knee imobilizer!!!!

Don't tell my kids though....I plan on being pushed around WDW in a wheel chair by them to my heart's content next week!!!!

Leslie, I spent five months last year going to physical therapy for my knee condition, so I understand your enthusiasm with your progress - good for you! I'm sure you are doing your SLRs - straight leg raises . It is so worth it to do your exercises! Believe me even next week you will want to be pushed in the wheelchair - don't overdo it.

Fantastic news!!! I have had 4 knee operations and can relate to what you are going through... I do have one question though... What did you pedal around if you were on a stationary bike???

Great news Leslie,
knew you could do it. And I remember just yesterday when you said you wanted to kill the people at PT who were torturing you.
And Dom, we won't have to push Leslie becaue she offered to rent a surry bike for the 4 of us and she will take the front all by herself. Don;t tell her but we will it n the back nd let her do all the work. It's good for her, we will give her the PT she will miss while at the event.
