So after months upon months of planning, tomorrow we are off to visit the capital of the world.

Staying at Windsor Hills, I think I have covered everything with regards plans, but if anyone has any last minute tips about staying at Windsor Hills that I may have missed let me know.

I will be on this site all day just checking I haven't forgot something,,

:rotfl: :scared1: :rotfl:

We have stayed at WH twice now in a TH (going back at Christmas).

I'm sure you know how to get there by now! Also about the Sherberth Road way to WDW.

Don't forget to get your card for entry into the pool area - I think it's $6, but this is refundable on return of the card.

Just have a great trip:)

We'll be at WH starting June 11th and are very excited to go. I'd love to see any pictures you have of the place when you get back...maybe you can post a few.

:goodvibes Have a great time! Be sure to post tons of pics off the resort. We will be checking in on June 8th. Can't wait..
Safe travels to you. pixiedust:

Lucky You! Have a great trip. When you get back be sure to review the place you are staying and give us a crowd report at the parks.

We just returned from a week at a home in Windsor Hills. It was called the "laughing house". We split it with another family and it only cost $100.00 a night per family. I feel like this is SO CHEAP!

The house was immaculate and very nicely done. It was very spacious and had wonderful t.v's in each room. The kitchen was well stocked and met all of our needs. I didn't make it to the communal area, but my kids and husband did, and said it was very fun. The water slide was restricted height (maybe 48"?), so my youngest didn't get to go down it. We were very close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Overall I would recommend it to anyone.

I don't have any pictures, sorry!

My only complaint(s) are: 1) the mattress felt like it was a box with a slight bit of foam padding (very slight) on the top. I am sure this varies by unit, and you never know what you will get. None of the mattresses in our house were comfortable. By the end of the trip my friend had a terrible backache. 2) In a house this nice, ceiling fans would have been a wonderful and cheap addition. We brough our own plug in personal fans, so it was OK, but ceiling fans are not that pricey to add in!
3) I personally don't like being in the middle of tourist-ville. You know, the big shops with giant mermaid bodies on them, or magician heads... Just not my style.

OK... even given my complaints (which again, could vary by unit), I think it was a terrific value and well worth the money. We felt very luxurious with a pool in the backyard. The kids could swim at night with the lighted pool. It was very clean and a great experience. Thanks for recommending it!

I just finished booking a WH villa (4 bedroom this time) for next March and am really excited! We are travelling with one other couple this time and another set of friends (2A 2C) have booked a TH. My DH is completely sold on the villa experience and says he will never hotel it again in Orlando! You will love WH. We have stayed in Disney and did a lot of timeshares and it beats every experience we have had in Disney. Nothing is nicer than having your own pool and spa that you can jump into when every you get the notion. :yay:

myhusbandnofanofdis--do you remember if there were restrictions on going down the slide with grommets on swim trunks? Here in Missouri, that has become a big deal with our little water parks and slides. I guess they leave black marks, or scratch up the surface. But I'm having a really hard time finding swim trunks without some decorative metal on it.
