That's right! The beautiful New England Style resort located right near Epcot is where we are going to spend our 5 magical nights in Walt Disney World. None of us have stayed there before, but by the looks of pictures online, it's going to be a very nice resort. By using DVC, we will get the opportunity to stay here on the Club Level! It's going to be awesome!

Parks
We're getting single day park passes, but we are going to go to all four of the Disney Theme Parks. This is what we're planning on doing as of now.
Day 1 - Arrive, Epcot (EMH till 12 am)
Day 2 - Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney/Yacht Club?

We can't WAIT to get to Disney World, and sometimes our trip seems so far away. But in the meantime, listening to Disney Music can get us through the day. - Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride: Lilo and Stitch
- Under the Sea: The Little Mermaid
- Jolly Holiday: Mary Poppins
- You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!: Peter Pan

Walt Disney World Park Music:
Innoventions Area Music Loop
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
SpectroMagic

Wishes

Listening to these songs can help anyone get excited about their trip. What we've been doing is making Disney CD's and sharing them with each other so we can listen to them on our computers and iPods or sing them in our cars. We make one a week to make the countdown go even faster! Listening to Disney Music makes us feel like we're almost there!

Ohhh heyyyy Disneyfreak508!!!!! Lovin the PTR....can't wait for more!!!! That Kristen girl is a real presh btww :P

:hmghost: Getting In The Spirit. :hmghost:

Happy Halloween Everyone!
Our countdown goes down to 75 days today... which means we're about a quarter of the way there! WOOHOO!

Kristen and Jess are the most obsessed with Disney out of the whole group, so the two of them were Disney princesses for Halloween this year!

Jess was Jasmine. She is Jess's favorite princess because people tell her that she looks like Jasmine all of the time. "A Whole New World," the song Jasmine sings, is Jess' favorite Disney song because she thinks it is the cutest scene in any of the Disney movies. Just the idea of flying over the world on a magic carpet with a boy as cute as Aladdin is about as precious as anything can get. A dream of Jess's is to be Jasmine (or Belle) in Disney World someday.

And Kristen was Snow White. She decided to be Snow White because people always tell her how she looks like that princess and she's fair-skinned, just like her. She thinks that Snow White is really precious, and she liked the costume. It was pretty legit.

And of course, a very important part of Halloween is carving pumpkins! At a Halloween party, the girls participated in a pumpkin carving contest and got many compliments on their very creative work of art.

It was a great Halloween for everyone! And we were not only in the spirit of the holiday season, but we were pumped up for Disney World at the same time!

The Sound of Music!

By counting down our trip, we made milestones that we have to reach, and before we know it, we'll be on our way to Disney! Our first big step is the completion of our musical, "The Sound of Music."

Kristen and Jess (Me) are the only two left in high school, so the two of us got to participate in this amazing experience.

Kristen got to be a nun, landing a solo in the opening song, and also being the servant "Ursula." She did an AWESOME job, and helped the Von Trapp kids with their costumes changes. There were many, and they were fast.

I got the opportunity to be Liesl, who is the oldest Von Trapp child. It was such an amazing experience for me, because I've never had a part in a musical before.

I loved every minute of it and was so thankful I got this chance. I got to sing the song "Sixteen Going on Seventeen."

And as the Von Trapp Family, we sang "Do Re Mi," "The Lonely Goatherd," "So Long Farewell," "The Sound of Music," and "Favorite Things."

I got so close with our little Von Trapp Family, and I will never forget how much fun I had working with them all.

I miss them so so much, and each kid holds a special place in my heart.

Rhe and Vickie were in the musicals with us before they graduated. Rhe played Annie when we did the musical "Annie" last year. This year she helped with costume changes, because her little brother was Kurt Von Trapp.

And Vickie was a "Boylan Sister" last year. For Sound of Music, Vickie did our hair and make up.

This show had a very slow process of coming together, but the last week of it, we ended up having the time of our lives!

Musicals are my other passion besides Disney World, and both of them make me happier than anything else in the whole world.

I think it might just be that family aspect of both of them, where you get to be with all of the people you love.

So, with our first big milestone down, and as of today, there are only 52 Days until we leave for our trip!

Thank you so much! We really enjoyed being part of it and getting to share that classic story with the audience! Being part of a musical is almost as much fun as going to WDW, so hopefully you enjoyed the update!

haha i'm so glad you could find it :) i hope you will enjoy our trip report! (our PTR is going a little slow)

-----------------------------------

Just A Little Update

I just wanted to apologize for not updating our PTR in a really long time. You see, we made most of our reservations before we even started the PTR, so I don't have many changes to report on.

And on top of that, a lot of great stuff has been going on lately!

Kristen and I are part of the play "A Stranger For Christmas" at our school. The story is about how these two women in a rest home in California make a bet to see if anyone would take in an old lady with no family for Christmas. One of the old ladies calls up all of her children, who live in Idaho, to see if they would take a pretend woman in, just as a test. The other woman (who Kristen is playing) doesn't believe anyone would ever have a stranger as a guest for Christmas, because since she doesn't come from a family of her own, she feels like she would never belong. I am one of the children, the second oldest named Beverly. All 5 of the children end up saying no to their mother's request, but you find out at the end that they said that because they were traveling on Christmas to meet their mother at the rest home on the actual Christmas day! They are all going to a beach home for the holiday, and Kristen's Character (Florence) is invited to go with them!

We are performing that show on Tuesday of next week, so wish us luck!

And also, we had musical auditions for the next show we're going to be a part of. The show is "The Music Man!" We auditioned at the boys school opposite of ours, and it is pretty competitive. We tried out last friday. For our audition songs I sang "I Got the Sun in the Morning" from Annie Get Your Gun, and Kristen sang "I've Never Been in Love Before" from Guys and Dolls." Thankfully, both Kristen and I got in the cast and we are Townspeople! We are so happy just to have made it, and we will be working on that for the next few months now! :yay:

And as for Disney World, we've been counting down every single day! And now we're suddenly in the twenties!! 29 to be exact. How did that happen?! Soon enough we'll be heading down to Florida for a fantastic 5 days :)

At this point we just need to get our dining plans all set and our park tickets! Then we will be all good to go!

Thanks for sticking with us and sorry there aren't more updates as of now. I promise that once the trip happens we will have lots more to tell you about! :flower3:

Have a magical day everyone! :wizard:
