As far as I'm concerned the cup is always at least half-full and that's all that really matters! I find when I keep that attitude the cup always feels overflowing no matter what the circumstance!

i wonder if everyone is hard on all the our hotels/resorts that they have stayed in before wdw. no hotel/resort can be perfect all the time especially disney, those resorts are booked all the time, im not making excuses for disney, but we all have a magical time there. it could be worse, just think , if you change to a non disney resort!!!!

My DH is leaving tonight for WDW to go to the golf tournament.....right now there is snow mixed with rain falling outside my window.... Anyway, I'm jealous, but hope you have a great trip!!!! I can't wait to hear about it!

Jacksmom, you just made me really glad I moved to the south! Sorry to hear of your yucky weather!

We're heading for the same destinations tomorrow....and I promise I'll make a positive report when I get back. Not to say I won't mention if we have a problem or two....but I'm sure if there's anything it will be minor and corrected quickly...so far that's been our DVC experience (and I've had noisy dryers, a clogged toilet and a toddler who locked herself in a studio alone with the balcony door open....).

Leshanem, don't panic! I'm sure your first DVC visit will be quite reassuring.

Sorry, but I don't think this attitude if truly carried out is very helpful. The best policy is HONESTY...Honestly assess what happens to you..if the cup is at half then it is fine to say it is half-full, if that is your outlook,..but to say it is ALWAYS AT LEAST HALF FULL????-- that " the cup always feels overflowing no matter what the circumstance???" That may feel good for you, but what you "feel" may have nothing to do with how things actually are, and if things are really bad then we and Disney NEED to know...Self-deception is rarely in anyone's long term interests. You don't have to be overly critical to be honest...to go saying that "As far as I'm concerned the cup is always at least half-full and that's all that really matters" is to say you have made up your mind as to what the facts are before you observe them...be upbeat--fine...see things in as positive a light as possible....but be honest...just the facts... Please.
