Hi- This morning I am going with my mom and MIL 2B to look for their gowns and then I have an appointment to look at veils. My Tiara came in!Have a great day!

Fun!!!! Good luck finding the perfect veil!!! I got mine when I bought my gown so I could try them on together...I love my veil...it's so pretty and one of my favorite parts of getting married...it's just so...BRIDAL!!! :bride:

hope you have a great time!!! princess: :wizard:

Well i have not left yet- I got my tiara the same day i bought my dress but at a different store, but my dress was there, too. I bought at the Neiman Marcus b/c they said they would have someone from Neiman in Orlando prepare it for me once we got there and Saks would not promise that. I did buy my tiara at Saks and loved a veil there, but Neiman gave me 150 dollar gift card when I opened a charge, so hopefully that should cove my veil. The other cool thing is the veil designer that Neiman uses Headpieces by Toni - Toni is from the town where my fiance and I will live, which is Mt. Vernon, IL, who knew that she had things at Neiman- oh well keep your fingers crossed for me!

I did not buy my veil with my dress. Mainly I just want a very simple veil, maybe a tiara, but they're so pricy. I'm not finding any tiaras for under $200 and the simplest veil was $125. Is this normal? Or am I looking at the wrong stores? If anyone wants to point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I've read brides on here having good luck on ebay. I got my tiara at the bridal boutique where I got my dress and it was $$$ but worth every penney! I didn't wear a veil. I have a little head :rolleyes1 and they all looked rather ridiculous on me!

I didn't get my tiara with my dress either, but my dress had a delicate floral "vine" pattern on it and the tiara had the same sort of design so I knew it would match. In fact, I got my shoes at a completely different store and they matched perfectly too. Sometimes it's just meant to be! Good Luck!!

oooh have fun have fun!! And good luck finding the perfect one!! My veil is my favorite accessory to my dress. I just couldn't and wouldn't do without it! :)

I am back! I got a LLLoooonnnggg veil, longer than my train which is chapel it has scattered rhinstones and a finished edge and I also got a shorter one, also with stones- Had a good day -- hopefully founf MOB and MOG gowns at the same shop, well I think they like the same dress, but my mom gets first shot at it

This is the tiara I got. I then got a fingertip length veil at a local wedding store, they attached a comb to it. My dress had colored embroidery so I wanted something simple that wouldn't take away from the dress.

Ohh sounds pretty post some pics when you can!!!

I'm not joking... i saw a very pretty veil at Micheals crafts for 20bucks.
It was hand crafted there using tulle, a comb, and some dried flowers.
If you know anyone crafty have them make it for you...i'v seen instructions on how to make them yourself.

Seriouly.

i was having issues trying to find a simple short veil. All the ones i found had lots of edging etc. I managed to buy a beautiful veil off Ebay in the end, it was tulle with just a few scattered rhinestones over it, elbow length. It works out about $30.

I bought DD and I matching tiaras for our vow renewal. I got them on Ebay for $12.99--great price and they didn't look cheap when they arrived.
