LOL I ask this EVERY year but this year I am determined to do something a little off the beaten track and wondered what your recommendations were - just for a day!

It would be a long day but St Augustine is beautiful. If you've never been, I can highly recommend it :thumbsup2

When's your next trip?

We enjoy a day down at the beach at Longboat Key followed by a late lunch at Skinnys popcorn::

One of our favourite things to do is a trip to Port Canaveral, spend a few hours there eating, drinking and watching the cruiseships leave, we always plan on a day Disney are sailing. To make it into a full day we have done Cocoa beach in the morning then the port in the afternoon.
At the port we eat, drink and listen to live music here http://www.grillsseafood.com/ lots of free parking and great atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon.

We like to go to a state park, at Blue Spring State park ou can take a boat trip to see the alligators and other wildlife :)

As I always say, Lakeland College for the fantastic Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. There are a couple of fab guided tours or you can just wander around. Lakeland is a lovely area for mooching around too.

Thanks everyone for that ..... of course I was also looking at Winter Park.

I like the idea of going down to Port Canaveral - are there other restaurants to pick from I always like to weigh my options up?
