Off site with our Magic Bands!

We have magic bands from a previous stay at Disney.
This time we will be staying off site, we got WDW tickets from UCT

So we have link the new tickets with our MB.

My question is: my credit card is linked on my disney experience account for our dining reservation, even if we are not staying on site, can we pay our restaurant with our MB or not at all only for guest staying on site?

No, charging through a Magic Band is actually charging to your resort hotel. You will not be able to do this offsite.

No. I just asked this. When you are on site and use your MB it charges to your room where you have a card on file.

The magic band charges back to your room reservation not directly to your credit card.
If staying offsite its not possible to use your magic band in this way.
