Hi, I am looking to stay off site near Disney and would need a suite/small condo for 5 days in April. I have a special need child (autism) so I would not be able participate in a time share presentation. Can anybody recommend a child friendly place that is not too hectic?

Check out the Hawthorn Suites on Canada Dr. or Avenue. The suites can sleep people and hotel has a hot breakfeast every morning for free.

if you get Cypress Pointe thru Hotelkingdom - there is no timeshare presentation necessary.

but I don't know about the hectic - I don't think it is

www.hotelkingdom.com

there is also a Embassy Suites not to far.

Amerisuites - although there have been complaints against

County Inn & Suites

the cheaper area US 192 Kissimmee might be too much for him to deal with.

sorry forgot to big ones

Buena Vista Suities

here is a link to dreams unlimited which is having a nice special on this place

also doubletree guest suites - this is in downtown disney - also on the above link.

if you don't mind spending money - a 1-bedroom or higher at OKW. very laid back and Disney property. You can rent points from a DVC member and save yourself some money vs renting directly from Disney.

but offsite would still be cheaper.

have you consider a house, condo or townhouse individual owned in the area
www.vrbo.com

Windsor Palms is a nice sedate complex of 2 and 3 bedroom condos, 3 bedroom townhomes and 3-6 bedroom pool homes. You can find them on vrbo.com and on http://www.windsor-palms-florida.net/

Also, SkyAuction is great. We've stayed twice at Orbit One and were very happy with it. Not hectic at all. Very relaxed.

The Sheraton Safari has suites. It is very close to the Downtown Disney area, and there are restaurants within walking distance.

I also was going to suggest www.skyauction.com They have very good prices on condos during slower times. www.Hotelkingdom.com may be good for busier times.

I would avoid staying at any of the Westgate properties. They have been known to try to really pressure people into a timeshare presentation even if you aren't obligated to go to one.

www.hotelkingdom.com is have excellent company to deal. If have problem with a hotel that is not up your standards. They will give money back to you.
