off site shuttle service

has anyone used an independant shuttle service to disney while staying offsite. looking for cost and how often do they go between resorts and your hotel. thanks.

I can only tell you what I have read from other posters about off-site transportation. Several hotels will group together and offer bus shuttle service to Disney and other theme parks. They only run at specific times in the morning and evening, not like the internal Disney transportation that runs continuously throughout the day. I thought that a lot of the off-site hotels offered free service, but I really don't know. From my understanding the service is very limited both going and returning. If you miss the last bus back you are on your own. Also slow with all the stopping along the way. You may want to consider renting a car or staying at one of the Disney value resorts and take advantage of the free Disney transportation.

It's Slow and limited; 3 times in the moring to the parks; 3 times in the afternoon from the parks and if they charge a fee it cost more than parking at the parks.
We're renting at the airport and parking at the parks. It's much faster, cheaper, more convenient than off-site shuttles and somtimes WDW shuttles.
