 I have done scads of research about off-site pool slides, as this is going to be our focus after a DCL cruise....relax and swim with only a day or two at MK and BB/TL/Wet n/ Wild....depending on weather in later November.
QUESTION: It is still vague who has the BEST pool slides...our kids are 6 and 8 and LOVE this feature about a resort.

The resorts in question/comparison....
*Marriott World Center
*Caribe Royale (although I have now learned their fitness facility is small and :confused3 icky?)
*Liki Tike Resort (there is lots of info out there that this place is run down and smells like cigarettes but the pool/slide area sounds GREAT!?)
*Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress (can anyone confirm there are 2 slides here?)

The other important choosing factor here is their fitness facilites :Pinkbounc
since we will have just stuffed ourselves silly on the cruise and "hanging" out at the resort more than our previous trip.

I DO FEEL CONFIDENT about our choice a few days before our cruise...
:cheer2: :sunny: RON JON'S Caribe Resort in Cape Canaveral! This place sounds awesome! :cheer2:

Thanks everyone for your knowledege and sharing

Hard Rock Hotel has a pretty cool pool/slide - "12,000-square-foot pool with a sand beach, underwater stereo, interactive fountains, a 260-foot pool slide" Fitness facilities are great here, and you can do US/IOA with unlimited front of the line access. My friend likened it to a fabulous resort with a theme park in the back yard - very relaxing vacation.

We're staying at the Marriott World Center 5 days, then moving to HRH for 5 days - can you tell the pool is important to us?

Thanks.....I kinda' forgot about the Hard Rock Hotel because they want a small pirate: fortune to stay there! And if you are not going to Universal or IOA, it doesn't seem worth it. Have a great time there....I have heard that place is top notch! :wave2:

Re rates, isn't that the truth! :sad2: I booked early and got a better price than is currently being offered. I would'nt be able to stomach the current prices! Forgot to mention to you earlier - MOWC is on easy click for $129/night - it's an opague listing, but definately the Marriott. We're thinking about coming in a day earlier, and it's the best rate I've seen.

Yes, there are two slides. The larger of the two slides, however, is in the section of the pool that is unheated. BTW, it's the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.

Hope this helps.
