off site hotel w/fw view?

We have stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and have been lucky to get a fireworks view. Not all rooms have a view though.

A couple of the downtown disney area hotels have a "fireworks view" - they are of Epcot.....we've stayed at the Hilton and had one of the rooms....you also have a view of downtown disney which is nice at night as well....

We have stayed at Buena Vista Palace w/Epcot view and had an amazing view of the fireworks from Epcot and MK. We were just at Hyatt Grand Cypress last week - our room was on the 16th floor and again amazing view of Epcot fireworks and MK way in the background.

Thanks everyone. This does help and some listed here are what I've looked into already. Money is very tight this year and can't spend a whole lot on a room. The cheapest I've seen for our dates is the Royal Plaza at $119/night. Anyone know of one cheaper? Thanks

we stayed at the Marriott World Center and we had a room overlooking the pool (high floor) and were so happy that we had a view of the FW!!

Look at some of the Wyndham Bonnet Creek threads and I think you'll find info about renting there from an owner for less than $100 per night.

At Bonnet Creek, you can call the resort directly a week or so prior to your checkin and request a specific view.

Nothing is guaranteed, but they have a reputation for being very good about fulfilling requests if they can. We just got back. We requested an upper floor, lake view, in Tower 4. We got top floor (15) lake view.
