Off site dinning

My parents live in the area and some of their favorites are Season's 52, Roy's and Christini's

There's tons of them - mostly chains right off site. Millers Ale House is one of the ones we like.

I have lots of restaurants listed on my site. You can search by location, and you may want to focus on Restaurant Row, a name I gave to Sand Lake Road when it started attracting many of our better restaurants.
But despite what many will tell you, there are other restaurants besides chains. Consider Antonio's, Chatham's Place, Moonfish, Tabla, Memories of India, Rice Paper -- not a chain among them.
Closer to Disney, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has a casual sushi bar in the lobby, and the Chef's Table at La Coquina is an intersting concept with all the tables set up in the kitchen. (They're open on limited nights.)

Holler if you have specific questions.

We like Unos. It used to be only pizza but now is everything from pizza to steak. We also like Sonny's BBQ. For thin crust pizza and cheap Italian, we like Flippers. They do a lot of delivery also. Debby

It's not right outside, which I consider the 192 area, and rather cheesy, but there's an area called Hunters Creek or Hunters Crossing that is full of all sorts of nice place, both chain and more unique.

There's salad/sandwich shop call Crispers that has free WIFI that we go to at least once per trip. GREAT flatbreads!

It's east on 417 between John Young Parkway (423) and Orange Blossom Trail (441)

We live locally and love Giordannos. Real pizza! Leave the Parks area and go right or left on 192 and every chain in the world is there. We also like Logan's a lot.:thumbsup2

My family loves Cracker Barrel...there's several of them in the Orlando area...we went there for breakfast last trip before heading to Sea World for the day. Dee-lish!!:goodvibes

It's not right around Disney, but it is afew exits away going in the direction of SeaWorld and US/IA, I believe. It's BAHAMA BREEZE!!!!!

HOLY COW this place is great! :thumbsup2

All kinds of great choices, and the Mojitos.....:worship:

Need I say more?

:hippie:

I second Bahama Breeze!! Buffalo Wild Wings is right in the same area, near DTD. Very convient since that's where we tend to stay and/or hang out.

Both are closer to Universal, but the restaurants I'm dying to try are Rangetsu and Texas de Brazil.

The closest to WDW, and perhaps the best steak in Orlando, is at Shula's Steakhouse in the Swan/Dolphin -- I can never keep those two straight in my mind! I know it is right in the heart of Disney's property, but many WDW guests don't consider it because it is not run by Disney. But that is a blessing -- the food is out of sight (both in quality and price)!
