Looking to plan a trip for June 2014, and considering staying off-site for the first time. I want a nice resort (comparable to the mod resorts) that offers complimentary transportation. We are a family of 6, so would need a 2 BR. Price does matter.

Also, for those staying off-site... How much would you budget per day for food?

If they do not offer free dining this year we are looking to stay at Bonnet Creek through either vacation strategy or vacation upgrades. As far as meals go I am trying to budget $400-$500 less than the dining package by doing breakfast in our room and packing some lunches. My quotes for the 2 bedroom condo, car rental and counting in $120 for park parking came to about $2600. Hope this is of some help.

We have stayed at the Marriott Grande Vista six ties now. They aren't far from the parks, very close to Sea World in fact, and are awesome. Activities for kismet Tweens, teens and adults. You could arrive and not leave for a week if you wanted too. Several pools, two bars, Pizza Hut delivery, golf course and school, places to get food and a convince store that sells booze AND a spa. I love the place. Give it a look :)

Did that one used to be Vistana? I remember staying there w/ a friend in the mid-90s.
