Off-property good neighbor hotel and park pass reservations.

So, not sure if anyone has had this dilemma - I'm an platinum AP holder, and have a 8 night reservation at the Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista. This is a WDW good neighbor hotel but it is off property. I'm guessing that I cannot link my reservation to MDE. But my concern is that because of this, I won't be able to make park pass reservations past 3 days, which is the current limit for AP holders. Has anyone had this same issue? Any suggestions?

Your hotel is not on the list so you just have to book three days out.

The good news is you have plenty of days, so if a park is full you can pick a different day. Hollywood Studios is the only park you would likely have an issue with, so just be mindful of that.

Good Neighbor Hotels get no perks with Disney, there are simply too many. They are only called that because they meet minimum standards set by Disney, like they are AAA approved hotels, sell tickets at the hotel, provide transportation but most are fee based, etc.

The Good Neighbor Hotels creates more confusion than it helps.
Jeez, you got that right. I went ahead and booked my 3 park passes for the Fr, Sa, Su at the start of my trip, since those tend to be the days that sell out - and one of them is HS. Then I'll just book another one at the beginning of each day. Honestly, I didn't book the Rosen Inn for the good neighbor benefits, I booked it because it has free parking and no resort fee and was 56 bucks a night. I'm already staying on property for two other shorter trips, so was trying to save some $$. Let's hope that week in May doesn't get too popular.

The whole structure of the non-Disney hotels "category names" is confusing, often causing folks to think they are getting Disney perks they aren't. It didn't help a few years back when a large un-named website (that I wouldn't trust for a second) announced that Good Neighbor Hotels were getting 60 day FP+ etc. It took on a life of it's own. The sad part is there is not enough differentiation from Disney so that folks actually know what they are getting when they book.
