I am having trouble reading the room rate schedule I got off the universal studios web site. Does this sound right? Off Peak: Jan. 2- Feb15, July 5-Sept.30 and Nov1- Dec.25. Why would the summer months be off peak? Wouldn't that be their busy season? Also for reg. season: Feb 16-April 6, April 19- July 4 and Oct. 1-31. Then Holiday April7-18, Dec. 26-31 and Jan. 1. Wouldn't Dec 25 and also Thanksgiving be considered Holidays? And what is "shoulder" rates? Is peak the Holiday rates? Anyone who can answer and shed some light on this please do! Thanks!

That sort of confused me, also, so I called them. The answer I got is that 7/5-9/30 IS off-peak for them, and that the spring break time and the Halloween times are considered peak.

I was perplexed myself because my first trip to USF/IOA was in 7/99 and it was jammed. I guess they have their reasons...
