1st visit, both parks, two days or one? We'll be 2 adults plus an 8 and 6 yr old (who are harry potter nuts) plus a 3 yr old Thanks!

a lot depends on when you are going.

planning for 2 full days would be fine if crowds are low.
you would be able to cover many things in the parks.

3 days would be good as you would not have to rush the entire days there.

I've done both parks comfortably in 1 day with the unlimited express pass from the Universal hotels, but if your kids are going to spend a lot of time in the Harry Potter area, I would plan for 2 days

At least 2 days..MLK is busy.We arrive that weekend for a week long stay and I plan on it being busy those days

Two days. In addition to HP, your kids are gonna like the areas for the younger crowd in each park, too ..well, maybe not the 8 year old...There a lot more to do than just HP. Definitely learn what the little one can do in terms of height before you go. I think you'll want to hit the animal show, for sure, it was surprisingly cute.

awesome - thank you! We are disney pros but universal is new for us!
