I've never stayed at OKW, but I have a situation developing where I might have the need to meet a friend in Orlando for a long weekend (4-5 days) and we figure, since we're both disney-lovers, we might as well combine business and pleasure and stay at WDW, where I am a a DVC owner and AP holder.

If this happens it would happen with only a few weeks notice within the next two months. What do you all think, will it likely be doabe? And if not at OKW, what about Saratoga Springs? We would need two separte sleeping spaces. I'm used to thinking of that as a 1-bedroom (at BCV), with a bed in the master bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Is that not how OKW is set up? How about SS?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you will be able to get something at either OKW or SSR in the next 2 months as long as it's not over Easter week. OKW studios have two queen beds. The OKW 1 bedroom has a king bed in the master and a queen sleep sofa in the living room. If you want a seperate door to the toilet side of the bathroom, request buildings above #30. SSR is the same arrangement as the other DVC resorts (with the exception of OKW).

I would consider 2 studios - the points are the same either for 2 studios or a 1-bedroom at OKW.

Good idea except that my friend and I would need space to work together at times - brainstorming - and I was thinking that the living room of a 1-bedroom would be a good idea.

Thanks for the tip on the separate entrance to the bathroom at OKW.

This is all very helpful because my friend just said he thinks the trip is on.
