Odds of Halloween time cancellations?

I have been stalking for a little while trying to get the last few days of October in the MK area. Has anyone had success with that time of year at the last minute? Looking for Oct 29-Nov 1.

Not sure what we want to do during the day on Halloween-both SSR and BLT seem to have the most activities listed (out of the DVC resorts-not including the Fort). Our daughter wants to go to HS that day but was hoping to come back and enjoy the activities since they haven't listed a DVC party for this year.

Not sure what the odds are? I was able to get xmas the last 2 years by stalking however wasn't sure about MK area at Halloween since it will be our first time down there at this time of year. Thanks in advance!

Do you have a waitlist in?

Stalking often works, but sometime the WL functions as intended and if someone cancels it gets shunted to waitlist quickly.

In follow up-wait list we created at the beginning of August was just filled at the Poly!

Interesting enough I had been stalking including right before I placed a call to guest services thinking I would switch to a 1BR that I saw open for 2 of the 3 I needed but when the cast member asked if they could do anything else I asked them to check one last time on my wait list and sure enough it was filled while we were on the call - never showed up on the RAT as I was checking in parallel the entire time!
