Anyone want to bet whether or not Fantasmic will be rained out on Sunday night?? We have a dinner package res and we're thinking of cancelling due to the weather forecast.

Just curious as to what happens if you do get rained out? Do you just lose out? Here's hoping for no rain for you!

Florida weather changes at the drop of a dime. I remember one year we planned on going to Fantasmic, but about 2 hours before the show, there was a big thunderstorm. We left MGM and went back to the resort. As we got off the bus, the sun came out again. I wouldn't cancel just yet.

We lost out last August... had dinner at Hollywood & Vine as a Fantasmic Dinner package, then stood in the rain for a good long while before they announced the cancellation. Nothing offered as compensation... didn't expect any. Sometimes it's a cruel world - we were at WDW - we got over it real fast.:)

We have had the worst luck with Fantasmic... it's been canceled all 3 times we tried to see it. Once last year, and twice last week. The first time this year (Wed., June 2) we had the dinner package and everything. The show started fine, but about 15 minutes into the show it started raining...HARD. They shut the show off and cancelled it. On our 2nd attempt (Monday, June 7) it started storming at 8:30 and didn't let up until about 11:30 that night.

Don't cancel, though... you never know what the weather will be like. Unless you're with us. Then you know you'll get rained out.

 We have had the same trouble the last time we tried to see Fantasmic. I have been to Disney many times and I have not seen it yet. The last time we went we sat in the seats for 1.5 hrs
it was drizzling but they had not cancelled, well we waited and waited and finally we decided to leave. When we got to the park exit, the show started! Well, hopefully I will see it in August ::yes::

GarrettJD,

We, also, got rained out last Mon. (6/7). It's not my favorite show, so I didn't really mind, but we had a family of newbies traveling with us so I was disappointed for them. On the up side, we saw Wishes twice during our 8 days.
