Odd wording on My DVC site.......

In checking over my upcoming vacations, for my AKV reservation it costs reservation points; for the others it costs vacation points. Is there a difference?
I don't think I've ever seen this before (or maybe I just didn't notice ).

Interesting. Reservation Points are regular vacation points that have been converted to make a reservation at a non-DVC resort.

I'm assuming your upcoming AK reservation is at AKV and not AKL?

On a side note, is there anyway to view the the points activity statement for next use year?

Yes, it's for AKV and the point count is accurate, too. Maybe it's because My DVC page still has this home resort as "null" since the villas haven't opened yet? Very strange.................

Yep, mine says reservation points too. I'm guessing it's because AKV isn't official just yet. It will likely change when our units are declared into the condominium association.

I mentioned it to DVC QA while I was on the phone with them. They didn't have a definitive answer as to why, but they weren't worried about it. They seem to think it could be tied with the resort not being open as of yet.

I had the same question last week but no one seemed to know the answer on this board. Mine are listed the same as yours.

Yes, under the total vacation points summary in the My points section, if you notice it has the different use years, click on the "plus" sign next to the use year and it will display your point usage for that year! Good luck!!!

My account still says, Null: I asked MS about this today, she said, "her screen showed it as AKV's". I haven't made a reservation yet.
