My husband and I are taking our two nieces and nephew to WDW July 4-10. My husband and the kids arrive July 4th and I will be joining them very early on the 5th. They are staying at AS Sports on the 4th and we are then moving to Poly on the 5th. My question is we all want to go to EMH at MGM on the morning of the 5th. However, I will not be a resort quest, unless we check into Poly. I really don't want to check into the Poly at 7:30 am and then go to MGM. We were hoping to go to MGM for a couple hours in AM, and then check out of AS Sports and into Poly. So I would then be able to go to EHM evening. Any thoughts on the morning?

I would think you would just be exausted after your journey to try and tackle EMH. Why don't you rest for a bit at *** then catch up with your family later in the day during the regular park hours.

isnt she still a guest until checkout time? we always hit the park on our last day and havent had a problem. I really dont see the issue :confused3 your husband is checking in for you all the day before correct? so you would have your room keys for the adults and kids to show.

Do you have to check out of one resort to check into another? My guess is that you don't. You could run over to the Poly, check in but not bring any bags or anything, get your park ticket(s) and meet them at MGM. Your room won't be ready at the Poly anyway. Disney will move your luggage, etc, anyway and you don't really need to go to the desk to check out as long as the room charges are correct. If everything is packed before you go to the parks, you won't need to do anything at Sports. You can check out any resort at any time while staying at Disney.

Put your name on the All star Sports reservation. Your husband cam get the resort ID for you. What are you doing for park passes?

I was going to suggest the same thing. If everything on your "bill" is correct, then check into the poly in the am and go to the parks.

I was always under the impression that you are considered a resort guest for the entire day you are paying for a room, so you should be able to take advantage of EMH. The real problem would occur if your ticket will be on your Poly room key. If that is the case, then you will definitely need to check into the Poly first.

WELCOME to the DIS

Ok at the first resort AS/Sports there can only be 4+ 1 infant so adding you to the reservation may not be possable. What about park tickets do you have your tickets yet or will you have to pick them up at the Poly? Will either/both of you have a car for transportation?

#1 Don't go back to the AS/Sports after MGM to check-out. Be ready to check-out when they/you leave for the Park. (express check-out) Going back would just be wasted time. If you have a car you will have your Guest Parking Permit free parking at the parks and early access, so you will be able to just drive over to MGM. If you are arriving so you could drive direct to the Poly you could check-in as early as 7:00am then meet the rest of your group at MGM. (The earlier you check-in @ the Poly the earlier you may get your room or receive your room request)

We need more information to really offer much help. You also said you wanted to attend the Evening Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom will your tickets have Park Hopper options?
