Odd commercial

Have you seen the new Miracle Whip commercial. The premise is that you either love Miracle Whip or hate it, and then they flip back and forth between people saying it's great or it's horrible. I've never seen a commercial feature people that hate it's product before.

We saw a new one that completely disgusted us today....there's a luv's commercial where the babies are scored on how much they fill their pants.

Yea I think I did see this. I thought it was strange too and was wondering why they even had it.

There's one for a hummus product -- the nicely dressed young lady is serving it to her guests, the announcer says "let's see how yia yia likes it," old Greek lady dressed in black says "she looks like a prostitute!" The girl is horrified, the old lady repeats it. Stupid. Would never buy this product, even if I liked hummus.

Maybe they are marketing to the people who have never tried Miracle Whip. Say you're one of them. You see the commercial and you wonder if you would be a lover or a hater. You go out and buy the product.

Me? I know I HATE Miracle Whip. Nothing against the brand, I just hate dressing as opposed to mayo.

Well, I haven't seen it yet, but it shows that the makers of Miracle Whip are in tune with how the public feels. I've never seen a product that people either lover or hate like Miracle Whip.
I've tasted many a potato salad and sandwich ruined by Miracle Whip.

This exactly! How many times have I eaten at a friend's, bite into a nice tuna salad sandwich only to discover it was made with Miracle Whip??? Not good.

A few years ago there was a similar love/hate commercial about the Scion xB. So Miracle Whip isn't the first!

I'm a total Hellman's girl, but when I saw the commercial, I was thinking "wait...am I supposed to love or hate Miracle Whip. I don't get it."

I guess I think too much about commercials.

Totally agree about the Luvs commercial, the first time I saw it I was like "" WHAT?

I couldn't believe the Luv's commercial either - really wierd and gross.

And I can't stand Miracle Whip

I thought it was a really good commercial! It got me thinking about it, and obviously now we are talking about it. Great marketing! I wonder how many people will go buy a container of Miracle Whip just to see if they love it or hate it.

I'm one of the weirdos who just likes it. I'm fine with Miracle Whip or regular mayo. I'm not picky.

We saw it and really liked it. My husband hates the stuff and I think that there is a time and place for it. And a couple years ago while shopping I checked out their ingredient list, and noticed they'd quietly changed the sweetener from HFCS, which was a nice little surprise (the previous time I checked ingredients they had that sweetener). So now I *could* buy it for the family, if I wanted to...but since I'm the only one that I know likes it, it's probably not going to happen LOL.

Anyway, since it mirrored the adults in my family, we thought the ad was clever!

The worst is when someone asks you if you want mayo on your sandwich and when you bite into it, you know it's Miracle Whip.

Then they try and tell you it's the same thing. NOT!

Oh, and I also HATE the Luvs commercial. I have one in diapers right now and I don't find anything about baby poop cute.
