Odd but maybe good for everyone---What do you think?

It is offical the dates are Aug 26-Sept22!!!
So the dates we want are not good but still have them. But just in case I booked the POP for 5nights with Free Dine, then the kids would only miss 2 days of school! Now we just have to make sure my DH can do this for work!!

Is it possible that there is a smaller window to book free dining for the Disney Visa people but when it goes public the dates will be extended?
Last week I ws chatting with a great CM about changing some things for our June trip. I told her I was getting APs because we were returning in August. She asked me when we were planning to visit and I told her the 12th thru the 19th. She said " oh you are very lucky then" . I thought she just meant because we were doing 2 trips this summer but maybe there was more to it.

I guess we will have wait and see, last year it was the same offer for the Visa card holders and the general public, plus I think the card holders would be pretty p***ed off if they changed their dates only to see the dates they wanted offered to the general public a few days later . I have resigned myself to no free dining now and am hoping for a bigger discount.

You never know although historically it has always been the same. However, I was thinking the same thing since where the Visa promo has been listed, it states they anticipate the dates to be the same, but no one says they are actually the same. It would make sense since it is usually much slower in September anyway. We will just have to wait and see.

When I called back in March and I had a chatty CM and he saw that I had a pin # attached to my name for the 40% off which I couldn't use, he said to be on the lookout for something for my dates.

So the waiting begin for Thursday..

I called CRO around 11:30 today, hold time about 10 minutes. Orig. dates are correct 08/26-09/22....BIG BUMMER, we have flights for Aug. 10-17, only week of the entire summe we could go!!!!
We havent booked yet, still holding out.

I spoke with CM Calhoun, who said keep checking back....they obviously will look at numbers and might change things a bit as time goes by. I will try again Thursday just to see what they say........
