He wants a backpack that does not crumple over, stays sturdy when you put it on the floor ( I am guessing it is because the kids flip each others bags inside out
) anyway, not a rolling type, not a solid type like a carry-on, I am not even entertainig a search for such an item unless anyone else has ever heard of it or experienced a "self-standing" backpack. Bad enough crud got into the inside of his calculatorafter he lost the top cap(don't ask) I mean, duct tape would have solved the porblem, but noooooo, $130 calculator is basically toast.
Anyway, I am guessing DS is describing something that does not actually exist, so if anyone knws of a backpack that comes close to this idea, please let me know!
TIA,
Pam
