ha ha, DizMe, you're so right. SW cheap flights are the other contributing factor that I left out. I hit the parks 4 times from Feb - April on $49 flights. (saving points to hopefully plan a DW trip at some point) --Now if SW would just expand to Redding, -alleviate that 2.5 hour drive.....

That would be awesome! I would love to fly out of Redding (even better for me would be Chico, but that's highly unlikely as we no longer have any airline at all).

Hmmm... my AP is up in June... I wonder if the $60 early renewal credit is enough to justify renewing early. Shame they don't do proration so you can adjust your expiration date.

I would say you would probably be better off getting a new AP in October. If you have a premium, $60 only covers about a month of the cost (if you divide the total cost by 12) which would not be made up if you didn't return between June and October.

I didn't realize your airport had closed. I've actually flown out of there a couple times. (used to work there for Matson & Isom) Redding just got some 'low cost' carrier. I think you can fly RT for a mere $300! (not 'mere' enough for me.)

I'm going to have to forego any trips over the summer though.... I haven't been doing a bunch of travel to Cali for work, but I will be back in June/July/August I imagine... Hmmmm..
