October Saturdays at MK

Looking at the times calender for MK in Oct., I noticed that closing times for Saturdays (at MK) are either 10:00pm or 11:00pm for the exception of the 29th which is 9:00pm. The 29th is the day I will be going to MK and was wondering if they expect fewer crowds that day in comparrison to other Saturdays in Oct.? Any ideas why? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

Just got back, 10/1 was VERY crowded compared to just the Thursday before. Most people were commenting on how they were going to the MK Saturday instead of Friday or Sunday (which are MNSHHP days and the MK closes at 6pm) because it was open later.

We also went back on Monday (um...10/3) and long lines compared to the previous week.

Saturday, standby on Buzz was 50 minutes (fastpass was to the door), Monday Buzz was standby 40 minutes (fastpass didn't stay at the door, but got there). Small World on Monday was 20 minutes (afternoon), Peter Pan was 50 minutes on Monday. Saturday (afternoon) the Speedway was 30 minutes. Magic Kingdom was open until 9pm on Monday, with spectro and Wishes that night too.

It was the first time we were glad to be leaving Disney (crowd levels were too high for our family).
