October Park Hours - My Final Frontier

Yes folks, it's come to this. I picked my travel dates last year. I bought my airline tickets in November (the only way I KNEW we'd go for sure!). Bought the UG (for 2005) in December (other years from 1999 forward are filed by year in the bookcase). Joined DIS in (insert FEB or MAR 2005 here). Booked WL in March (with dining). Burnt out on posting in May. Heard about free dining. Called TA and got free dining. Got re-interested in planning. Made all my ADRs at the 90 day mark, and a few more recently thanks to some DISers in chat (thanks WillCAD). Now, my final frontier.

WHEN WILL MY OCTOBER PARK HOURS BE OUT? Anyone? Bueller?

UGH!!!!!!!! I'm waiting too! I am an absolutely neurotic Disney trip planner (I've got this excel spread sheet that is a finely tuned instrument by the time the big trip comes!) and check daily. I bet it won't be until August 1. Hopefully, I am wrong in a good way! .

It is certainly frustrating isn't it? I just don't know why it is so hard for them to determine their hours?? Other theme parks that we go to have their calendars with set hours up to 6 months ahead of when you go. I am wanting to call on our 90th day which comes up Sunday but a lot depends on the park hours as to what days and where I will need ADR's. Yes, very frustrating indeed.

I have been planning for a group of 19, and I just pray I do not have to do too much changing around when the hours come out!!

Why is it they let you make reservations for the parks 90 days out but never seem to have park hours 90 days out I can see 6 months out might be a stretch but they should be able to handle 90 days so all of us planning crazy disers can get some sleep at night!!!

I know! It is making me crazy! We have already made a few of our ADR's. Hopefully we won't have to change them. And hopefully the hours will come out soon.

I'm goin nuts too!! I've made all my plans based on last years hours...hope they are the same or at least similar!! I was also waiting for Sept. hrs bc I will be there sept 29 - oct 30 and the sept hrs came out on july 1st or 2nd, so I am hoping they will do oct on aug 1st or 2nd....have my fingers crossed that they will and I won't have to change anything

I was just checking around for October hours, and saw this thread. I wish they'd release the park hours so I can finalize our plans.

They used to release them farther out but then there were complaints about too many changes. They've been doing 60 days out for well over a year now, so it's a good bet that October will be out around 8/1.

I expect the park hours on August 1, but it seems that the EMH hours are following a few days later.

ALL of my ADR's are finished but I called yesterday to change one and called back today to change it again! So much for the "ease" of ADR's in one phone call!

I already know I want to move our Fantasmic dinner to later in the day if we can, and I suppose we might change our time for Ohana depending on Wishes. I looked at 2004 hours but I don't know that I want to plan around those since EMH wasn't offered last year. You just never know!

OH MAN!!

I actually got to a point last week where I said, "Ok, I can't plan anything else until I see the hours!" I haven't even been on the board in days! And it just hit me an hour ago and I slapped my husband on the arm--OMG, the Oct hours should be out by now!" and I ran for the computer. He just rolled his eyes at me....anyway, checked the website...knowing FOR SURE they would be there...and, no hours yet??

I guess I'll have to be patient for another couple of days...maybe tomorrow
