October No Buy!!

Catching up......

Oct 9: Took DS to DMV for his driving road test (woot, woot!)..... so $40 for a new license and then $20 for a celebratory lunch out and then a trip to the thrift store to buy some things he needs for a spirit week costume and a pair of shoes for my trip. Obviously NOT a no-buy.
Oct 10: Groceries, but no other shopping, so NO BUY #8
Oct 11: Home all day.... cleaning, cleaning, cleaning....NO BUY #9.
Oct 12: Repeat of yesterday..... NO BUY #10.
Oct 13: Got sent home early from work with a full day's pay!!! Will head to second job at 4pm and then straight to my Mom's to stay overnight before heading to the airport in the morning!! I have my dinner packed to eat on the road, so this will be NO BUY #11..... but after this, all bets are off! Bermuda here I come!!

I FULLY anticipate not having another NO BUY day until at least 10/21....but since my goal was only 12 NO BUY days this month, I am definitely on track to hit or exceed my goal!.....P

8-Spend--Take out pizza as a treat for the kids...they both had a math test today and feel like they aced it!!

10-Spend--pizza for lunch at my mom's...she had nothing my kids would eat
11-Spend--DH was tired driving back from his parents place and stopped for a caffeine fix, we also had to gas up (forgot we would need to do that...duh!)
12-Spend--Family fun night, the plan is to watch a "drive in movie" in the living room, DH wanted popcorn and ice cream for chocolate shakes and we had neither in the house

I'm back from BERMUDA! It was amazing! Anyhoooo.... here is my no-buy catch up!
Oct: 14- 20: Bermuda.... spent money every day and it was worth it!!

Oct 21: Home for the day unpacking and doing laundry.... NO BUY #12 (made my goal for October!)
Oct 22: Work and home..... NO BUY #13
Oct 23: Work and work... anticipating that this will be NO BUY #14, but I gave DS a few dollars for hot lunch just in case his lunch doesn't defrost in time (he forgot to take it out of the freezer last night), so we will see.

ETA:
Oct 23: Count as NO-BUY #14 since DS didn't spend the money I gave him.
Oct 24: Housework and yard work.... NO BUY #15.
Oct 25: Not sure yet.

Oct 25: Housework and yard work.... NO BUY #16... plus DS brought home 2 1/2 full leftover pizzas from his Model UN event.... so that is about 10-12 school lunches for him for FREE!
Oct 26:Off to the grocery store. If I can stick with the necessities it will count as a NO BUY.
