Why is MK only open until 6 pm on 10/4?!? MNSSHP isn't scheduled for that day, is it? I am very surprised at such an early closing time for a busy week.

EMH schedule isn't up yet- also, I couldn't find any mention of Spectro during the first week- don't they usually show it at least once a week? Maybe they just haven't gotten to all the stuff yet.

We are going Oct. 8-15 and Spectro is not listed on any day we are there, none. What is up with that?
Also, there are not any EMH listed.
Magic Kingdom is closing early on Columbus Day weekend.
Maybe things will change.

The parades and fireworks and EMH are usually not up right away.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised by changes on the hours between now and October.

Just went back and looked again- the Spectro, Wishes, and Fantasmic times are up!

On each calendar page, click the date, and it will open a window with that date's parades, etc for that day and park.

Yay! I can't wait till the kids go down for their nap this afternoon so I can take a good look at the hours!

The dining reservation CMs will be VERY pleased that the hours have come out! I called this morning to make a couple of tentative reservations and I asked the CM when she thought the hours would come out and she said, "We wish we knew! This is making things difficult for everyone!" Bet she is happy (and busy) now.

We went in Sept of last year and had the luxury of walking on to alot of rides. I am scheduled to go this year from 10/16 to 10/25 but it looks like the Funai Classic is happening.

My question is, with the Funai Classic and Food and Wine, should we expect large crowds and waits? Also, are there fireworks for the nights when MK closes at 6pm?

Whew, ok I am calming down. LOL
They did add Spectro to the 8th and 15th. We may have to re-think our arrival day (8th) plans. We were going to Chef Mickey's and then begin parks on 9th. I'm surprised that is the only night they are having Spectro on a holdiay weekend. But, I'll keep watching for changes.
I'm so glad to finally get to see some times.

I bet that might be because there is an evening EMH for MK that night. EMH hours are not yet listed though, so there's no way to be sure.

Editing to say: I just realized they'd usually only close early to accommodate a MNSSHP. Maybe they're adding one this day?

Wishes is scheduled for 9:00pm that night.. if you click onto that specific date you should see it
