For those of you attending the October GG, I have posted a poll of which activity you would like to attend. (If either)

I voted Illuminations....fantasmic had me a little disappointed last time. They "princessed it up" a little too much for me...I really liked it when they focused more on vintage mickey.

I too, voted for Illuminations. What would make it a "dessert party"? If you make it a "beer party", Al will vote for it no matter where it's held!!

IllumiNations or Fantasmic! Dessert Parties
An IllumiNations Dessert Party or Fantasmic! Dessert Party is a private event for your group that gives you an excellent view of the fireworks and laser light spectaculars offered nightly. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth takes place in the middle of World Showcase in Epcot. The Fantasmic! show is held in a special amphitheater at Disney-MGM Studios.

For an IllumiNations Dessert Party, your group is admitted to Epcot at about 8:30 pm. IllumiNations starts at 9:00 pm and runs about 12 minutes. Your event concludes about 9:30 pm. During the party, your guests will enjoy a buffet of delicious desserts and drinks.

For a Fantasmic! Dessert Party, your group is admitted to Disney-MGM Studios at about 30 minutes before the park closes. The Fantasmic! show usually starts around the time of "official" park closing (which varies seasonally) and runs about 25 minutes. Your event concludes about 30 minutes after the show ends. During the party, your guests will enjoy a buffet of delicious desserts and drinks.

I voted illuminations, because we have never had any luck at all with fantasmic, every time we try to go, something happens... LOL
