October Crowds ?

We are planning a 7 day land / sea cruise in October of 2004.
We will only have 3 days to do Disney and to me that is just not
enough. I have been there several times and you need at least
7 days. I am hoping the crowd level is down so that we won't
have as long of waits as we do in the summer months.

This will be my first trip to Disney in a month other than
June, July or August.

we were there last year at the end of Oct, and I did not think the crowds were bad- except for MK on a Sat night, and the WS at Epcot at night was a bit crowded because of F and W.

The FT package may make things worse, but I hope not cause we are going in Oct.

I am so jealous of your cruise- I just can't talk DH into it!

Actually it is my DH that wants to go. I am quite content spending
the entire time in Disney World. I have been to Disney 5 times
and he only once. He still needs to learn that you need a lot of time in Disney. Three days won't cut it. However I am really excited about the cruise as well.

Order the Free Disney Cruise video. Maybe you can talk him into it.

October is a great time to go. Not only are the crowds down, but the weather is wonderful (in our experience, anyway). We have found that we could do more each day because the heat didn't wear us out as it does in June or July. If you're going in October, I would highly suggest Mickey's Not So Sccary Halloween Party--we did it last year and just bought our tickets today for October this year. It's so fun. We don't even have young children (daughtert is 17), but we love the atmosphere, and hey--you're never to old to trick-or-treat, right? Have a great trip!!
