Just so we know what to expect, how are the crowds in last October, 24-31 to be exact. We have mostly traveled in the off season so I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect. I've already read it is more crowded than September but how but in comparision to November (before Thanksgiving or mid-January). Thanks!

We attended last October (15-26th to be exact).
A comment was made that that was the 1st week that the parks were back to expected capacity since 9/11 (made by one of the cast members).
The weather was hot, water parks no waits, AK no real waits, but the best rides in MK had 1 hr waits. MGM wasn't too bad. Crowds were 4-5 deep for parades. Can't tell you too much about Epcot b/c my kids were BORED and my husband (40) got angry that he was carded for beer and did not have id so he couldn't purchase beer.
Hope this helps somewhat. From what I understand, though, this year's crowd levels are down.

I'm so sorry. Epcot is my fav park & you were there during the F&WF. We are going back this year just for that. There is alot to see & do for both adults & kids.

sdamico71 ....

I'm sorry he got mad...lets just say I find this amusing because I'm at the age (almost 30) where I beg to get carded...

EPCOT is my favorite by the way...

Now everyone has got me wondering about crowds before Columbus day? Specifically the first week and a half (5-12)??? Anyone...

Don't know how much impact it has on the parks, but in the UK the schools break for a week at the end of October. The tour companies obviously see it is a peak time as the prices for a package are high!

the last week of Oct last year. The crowds were not bad except MK on Sat night was awful. Epcot was a bit crowded at night around the WS for food and wine.
we are going again the same time you are.:bounce:
