Thank you for the info, that's great news! :goodvibes

Would anybody who is around for the dates later in October like to meet up for the Halloween event? My room mate made it pretty clear that she won't come with me, and I'd love to have some company.

WOW I thought I was crazy booking hotel and air this soon for our Oct 16-21st trip HAHAH. Now I know why the HoJo was booked (we have never stayed there) we booked Carousel suite this time since there are 5 of us - they had nice beds. Our daughter will celebrate 3 YEAH, celebrating at Goofys Kitchen - but not sure when to book reservation for the 17th?

Still hoping some new packages deals come out from the hotels for that time frame they all seem to end around end of Sept.

Also looking forward to the Halloween Trick/treat party - we did it at WDW so FUN. I know they wont have the parade at DL but it still sounds like fun.

Just pissed off at Alaska Airlines for charging our family for 1st checked bag - we have to have diapers, and disney dresses for our kids....this is money we could spend in the parks.

See you then!

Okay, I am confused now.

Does this mean I can't buy tickets for October 30 and 31 in advance?

Thank you.

I think I fell for the same wording last year already. You'd think I'd remember.

Thanks for those dates disneyfan4ever54! :thumbsup2

We're hoping to go on the 29th but we haven't booked our flights from the UK yet as the prices are silly at the moment! :scared: Do they usually sell out? And does anyone know when the tickets are on sale for non-AP holders please?

Thanks again for all your help! :)

We'll (dd 13 ds 6) will be there October 15-18 at PPH! Can't wait! We've never been in October, so I'm curious to see the Halloween changes.

Halloween sold out in advance I think, and one or two dates during the fall breaks which are earlier in October.

Last year non-AP Holders could buy tickets from August 1. The dates that sold out sold out after August by the way, so you should be safe.

I'm planning my first trip without DH :scared1: Just me and the 4 kiddos, October 6-11, first time at the HoJo. I can't decide if we should spend the extra $ on Halloween party tickets. We've been the last 2 years. Loved it though!

----------
Utah Education
Convention is October 1 & 2, 2009 with the weekend free for touring so this should not c cause a noticible rise in park attendance that weekend.
http://www.utea.org/newsEvents/ueaConvention/index.htm

Just an FYI, Utah Education Association has a convention for teachers in Utah every October, dates vary. What it means is that most school children in Utah have no school on a Thursday and Friday, many also have the following Monday off. During this school break a LOT of Utah families travel to Disneyland so you can expect greater crowds this year from October 1 to the 4 or 5th. We usually travel to Disneyland during this school break, but last year it was so crowded (some friends with us had just been the previous December and said it was more crowded than when they went the week before Christmas) we changed our dates to a week later just to avoid the crowds. We have also noticed that if we stay an extra day that the crowd levels drop off considerably once the Utahns go home.

Info is in the first post on this page, and in the first post at the very start of this topic. The information is only on the Annual Passholder section at the moment because sales for AP holders will start earlier. There's a party on the 16th though. :goodvibes

General sale hasn't started yet, last year it only did start August 1.

You're very welcome! As far as the tickets, I know that Fridays sell out first, so if you plan on going that day, I'd get them as soon as they go on sale. We're going on Wed. the 21st. The tickets are less that night and with my AP, I can purchase them early. I hope that you have a great time!

Hi, I'm looking at going to the trick or treat party on the 28th and/or 29th. Can you do everything in 1 night or am i best to do it over 2 nights? Thanks
