October 8

Probably one of the only non party days leading up to Columbus Day weekend. Days for night entertainment are crazy that time of year because crowds are all pushed into just a few days there isn't an early closing for the party.

The go to advice it to avoid the MK on non-party days that time of year. Unfortunately that means you miss the night entertainment, but the lower crowds are worth it. If there's a way to catch it on a different night, that's ideal (hop over or add a day where you just do the night entertainment).

I was just looking at Touring Plans and on October 8 Magic Kingdom is a 10...... any idea why?? Thanks
Probably because of all the MNSSHPs around it, Tues, Thurs, and Fri are all parties so MK closes early to regular full paying guests...add in the new parade and now that week only has a few nights you can see it, so I'm sure the non-party days are going to be slammed.
