Capris and nice shirt are fine for formal night. How are cruise docs coming? UPS/Fedex. I need to know which company to call and give correct directions to so I get mine.

For person looking for sunscreen check seasonal area at walmart that's where I found it at our walmart.
My Dh and i will also be at Oct. 4 MNSSHP celebrating our 5th wed annv none the less.

My documents came today via UPS!!!

Let's go!!! Can you tell I'm anxious? I just bought a new camcorder on Ebay. I'm all set (except for the packing part). :rotfl2:

Cruise Docs arrived UPS today 9-25 in Central Ohio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My TA has been out sick for a few day. She finally called me today and confirmed that Disney has mailed them. Mine will go to the TA and she promises to call as soon as she gets them. I hope it is soon.

Hi all...

Just checking the boards again.. We are all getting excited.. 1 week away for us. We are going to WDW parks first, then onto the cruise.

I have myself, DH, DS11 and DS09. The boys are really looking forward to the Oceaneer Lab. We're definetly going to the Mickey Pool at 3pm. Hope to see everyone there!

HI all,

Can you believe we are all going to be on the cruise in a little over a week!!! It's crazy!! I have a question for any families with boys going on the cruise. MY daugher has been e mailing a few girls and she is enjoying talking to them. :cheer2: Here is my question my DS 11 now wants to e mail a few boys who will be on the cruise also, so anyone with boys around his age that would like to e mail please send me a private message so we can get them talking. :wizard: He will be in the oceaneer club with his sister and 2 girl cousins so having a boy to hang with will make him very happy. :yay: :yay:

Thanks Kim

I know you are particularly asking for boys, but if your DS wants a 4th grade girl to e-mail (just to have met someone) let me know and it can be arranged!

Me again. I'm so excited...

My TA e-mailed to say my docs got sent to the wrong office, so she won't be able to get them to me for a few days. Does this matter? Anyone know if there is something in our docs that we need before the trip?

Anyone have luck filling out the forms online? Apparently there was some kind of glitch the day I tried, I will try back again later. Kid Club forms are there too somewhere, I hear.

Hi,

I did all my forms online. No problem at all!! There is only one form that we need to bring to port with us signed. It is the cruise contract. Luggage tags came with the docs too!! Guess you will need them!! Good Luck!!

Rec'd docs yesterday by UPS. :woohoo: Still haven't gotten Magical Express though for trip back from resort. Also, haven't started packing yet. My daughters birthday sleep over is this weekend and I've got my hands full! So much to buy and pack next week. My head is spinning-it's so close!

Yes, I was able to fill out all of our forms online with no problems. Try again! Maybe the website was just down. We received our Docs yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to look through them yet. I plan to do that today.

I keep going through a list of things in my head that I need to either buy, pack, or remember to do. Agh! I need to write everything down...I'm so afraid I am going to forget something!

A few questions:

Are you all bringing a pillow case with markers for the characters to sign? Where do we drop that off?

What is the "Secret Sundeck" on Deck 7? Are kids allowed there?

Are you planning on bringing bottled water? How necessary is this? I can't imagine lugging around a case of water with us, but if it's that hard to come by or that expensive I will.

Ladies---do you take a purse with you to DW? I'm planning on bringing a Bagallini bag for things like camera, money, etc. but I'm not sure if I should bring my purse as well.

Thanks!!!

Hi Monica...it's Emily's Mom

If you go to the following website they have a fantastic Packing list that is easy to print out. It seems to cover eveything!!

http://www.mousesavers.com/timeismoney.html#packing

Yes I plan on brining pillow cases for the kids, I believe we can drop them off at the conceirge desk on the ship and they weill have all the characters sign it and then return the last day of the cruise. If anyone knows if this is true or not pelase advise!! Thanks!!:wizard:

The only thing I know about the "Secret SunDeck" is that it is a little known outdoor nook complete with chairs on Deck 7 aft. (cruise line book)

We do not intend to bring bottled water, I am a total overpacker and will most likely have a month worth of stuff with us so I do not think I could convince my DH to bring some water along too!!:rotfl2:

I plan on brining a small backpack and that is it...I want to be hands free!!!I will probably have the kids bring a small one as well!!

See ya at the pool!!!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Hello! Hello! So last night I emailed my travel agent and switched hotels from the Embassy Suites, where Taryn would get a robe for her bear to the Hyatt, $30.00 more but I don't have to worry about lugging suitcases!!! (I think at this point I'm driving my TA nuts).

Pillowcases - yeah, we are planning on bringing them if I don't forget to buy them. Make sure to put them in a ziploc bag.

Purses at the parks - If I could somehow manage to NOT carry a purse EVER I'd be a happy camper. I have a small backpack kind so I'll use that.

Water: Well... I do not like EVIAN water which is what is available on the ship, but lugging water just seems too much, so I think that for four days I can survive on ship water. And yeah, I also have to survive with diet coke, I'm a pepsi kinda girl but...

I am brining some packets of M&M's because $9.00 on the ship is a tad much. Also got some glow bracelets for the pirate party and MNSSHP...

Now, if my documents would just ARRIVE so I can put everything together. We are going to Universal Studios the day before we leave. Hopefully I don't forget the passes sitting right here on my desk....

Off to more domesticity... :laundy:

Thanks for the quick replies, ladies! BTW...Haley is having a blast e-mailing your girls! She can't wait to meet them!

Regarding the bottled water, I guess I thought people brought it not so much for while you are on the ship, but for when you leave the ship for excursions and such. I thought I read that water is ridiculously expensive off the ship. Will they not let you bring a few bottles with you as you leave the ship?

So, I looked through my documents, and now I'm wondering why everyone was so anxious to get them??? What am I missing? Pretty much, I just saw forms that I had already filled out online. Other than the contract that we have to sign, what is the big deal about the documents? Maybe they just make people feel like the trip is finally official and getting close??? Confused!

RE: Docs for me it's just knowing it's getting close and fact that I can have paperwork filled out while I still have a brain that's not on vaction. I took bottled water onto boat b/c I had some left over from WDW part of trip, I believe I took some off boat at CC.

Our cruise docs arrived by DHL! I had already filled them out on line, but it was great to get them.

TA is finally over her illness and called today with my documents. The package was opened ( I guess for her to check them out first ) but there are only 2 booklets with passes and luggage tags. There are no documents like the ones I filled out online. I guess I don't really need them though. As far as the "big deal" with receiving the documents , just for me , it makes me feel like it is finally real to see it in print. :woohoo:

Regarding the water - I didn't bring any on board last time and never missed it. Although it is expensive to buy on board, they have bottles for $1.00 on the pier at Nassau. (They were brand name and safety sealed BTW.) I seem to remember the boat offering a deal if you buy in bulk, but I don't remember the price. We mostly drink diet Coke, sprite or coffee. For four days I think I can cope without the extra baggage. I do think we'll stop by the liquor store though and pick up some alcohol.:drinking1

Wow! So even the bottled water on board isn't free? You have to PAY for water??? My goodness, with all the thousands of dollars we are spending on this trip you'd think water would be included! :confused3 DH drinks alot of water...not sure what to do.

Water from the tap is free, just not bottled water. We are taking some bottles of water in one of our suitcases. When we use the water I will have more room to bring to stuff back.
