I just got thru unpacking 2 suit cases and repacking them. Had to rearrange where everything was. Now I'm so confused. Took for ever to find my dental care package (brush, toothpaste, floss, etc.)

Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring a pair of small scissors and a small nail file on the ship?

Yes, but only in the checked luggage... I think they might be allowed in the carryon but they have tobe certain sizes.

Well both the girl's rapid strep test came back negitive!!! But we are going to start antibotics until the full test results come back. I will call on Friday to see if they are still reading negitive, if they are we take them off of it, if the longer strep test comes back positive we keep them on it.

I feel better now. Other than I kept the girls home from school today because I thought they were sick. They were bummed that they are going to school tomorrow (although I am pulling them out about an hour early to catch the plane)

sorry you are having sickness problems, not now, or really better now that you can see your own dr. anytime is bad, but better to be dosed up, before they get bad. hang in there girl hopefully things will get better. worse comes to worse, you can throw everything in the suitcase, and see what you have after you arrive. no kidding, aside, hope they are better tomorrow. just two more days, we are cruising folks, two more days.

I AM STILL AT WORK... why can't these people leave me alone!! So much to do! I was supposed to leave and hour and 1/2 ago!! Sheesh!!
I gotta get outa here! Yeah, I know, what am I doing on here.. well, I am running a report that ties up my programs..so it's legitimate!

No work tomorrow but so much stuff to do...

O.K. people what's up with all this sickness, rain, and procrastinating. We have a cruise to go on. Get those bags packed, get better and let the sun and fun begin. Seriously I do hope everyone gets to feeling better. To those who are leaving soon, be safe.

Just got my embarkation and meet T-shirts. They are so cute. There's no way I could have made them. This nice lady I know said "sure I'll make them for you." I really do appreciate her kindness. She works very hard.

Hope all the sick ones get well and everyone leaving soon have a safe trip and we see each other on the ship.

1 carry-on for DH - check
animals at the kennels - check
Mani & pedi for DD(6) and me - check
boarding passes for plane printed - check
house cleaned - check

I think I am ready to go. Although, I am a little worried that I didn't pack enough since the rest of you are taking so many more suitcases Of course, DH isn't as upset about my 5 suitcases after I told him how many the rest of you were taking

I guess I'll be seeing everybody on board. Got an early plane to catch out of Phoenix tomorrow morning We're finally on our way -- after a year of planning

We may not look as spiffy as the rest of you but we're only taking one suitcase each and our carryons. One is BIG but neither will go over 50 lbs - and we're including some stuff that DD needed. I figure I'm on a cruise so I'm not going to stress over ANYTHING.

If you see me wearing the same thing twice - pretend you didn't notice or just assume I sent it to the laundry!

I was going to make pirate shirts for me and DH and actually bought the fabric and pattern last night but after being WAY too busy at work today, I'm just too tired to mess with it so DH and I are "adapting" some t-shirts to Pirate look. If you see some "pretend" pirates in lame excuses for costumes - just chalk it up to too much to do and too little time.

I'm ON VACATION as of this afternoon - well except for a little computer stuff I still need to finish. But I will do that from home tomorrow - in my jammies if I want to. NO web cam so my computer doesn't know if I'm presentable or not.

I THINK I HAVE EVERYTHNG PACKED. LOST COUNT OF HOW MANY BAGS WE HAVE. IF IT'S NOT IN THERE NOW, WE DON'T NEED IT.

WE ARE GOING TO TRY TO BE ON THE ROAD BY 8:00 IN THE MORNING, AND WILL BE DRIVING ALL DAY.

I haven't had time to check in at all this week and now I have to try and catch some sleep before my early flight tomorrow.

I will try and print off the first page before I go so I at least have some hope of meeting all my DISfriends.

People are starting to head out...means it's almost time!! Woo Hoo!!

We leave about 9am on Friday..plane leaves at 12:30 and should get into Orlando around 5ish. I want to wish everyone safe trip prayers... and ontime wishes too! Watch the traffic!!
I actually have some items packed..I know, I know...nobody fall over or anything. Starting on organizing the stacks then putting a little of each thing in each bag to spread it around. That way nobody will be without everything if something gets lost. We will have 4 bags and 3 carryons...for 3 of us. That's not too bad right? I am going to keep it down to 4 bags if it kills me. I will need an extra hand or two to help DGM. Course the only clothes I have packed are mine. No kids clothes yet. Hey, one thing at a time and my clothes were closest to the laundry room door! Have some running things to do tomorrow then it's off to toss and turn all night waiting for that alarm to ring..Anyone actually sleep until the alarm goes off? Doubt I will! Bye all- I am going to bed now.

Remember ladies... Put at least one of your BATHING SUITs in your carry on... My thinking is... Much easier to replace clothes spur of the moment, but Do any of you want to be force to shop for a bathing suit ASAP??

I just have Misc stuff to jam into out 7 suitcases...


I am sending the girls to school tomorrow for a 1/2 day. I had them out all day today, so I feel the need to send them at least for 1/2 day tomorrow. But I am keeping the boy home. He is still out of sorts, so why send him.

I have NO idea what anyone is wearing on the plane tomorrow... mostly ME... I am very thankful to not have an early flight out... I kind of sort of need tomorrow morning for last minute things...

Syncing my Ipod as I'm reading your post!! What a coincidence!! I can not believe it's almost here!! I've gotta work all day tomorrow and then early flight Friday am. Trying to get those suitcases packed, but still got a long way to go......Good to know that I'm being true to my procrastinating self......When will I learn???

I'm with everyone else - just trying to get it all in the suitcases!

Yes it is 2 a.m.! Ugh! I keep having neck pain and having trouble sleeping at night.

Glad I checked my flight out - we were put on a different flight! Now we leave 2 hours earlier and arrive at MCO around 10:30. Oh well...2 more hours to find all our bags at the airport and get them into the rental car!

CM_Mom and I have been keeping an eye on the tropical weather and I figure I'll add that there are a few low pressure systems out there that could develop or might do nothing at all except bring the typical rain storms. I am very happy that nothing has come of those storms and it looks like we'll be able to fly in and board the ship as scheduled.

I hope all those dealing with last minute sick kids and sick themselves are on the mend! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we stay healthy!

And I'll add WOWSER does my 5th grader have a TON of homework to do on the ship - poor guy! I keep telling him he will have a great view at least while he is doing those math problems! I still have the kids' pants to hem so probably I'll be spending some time with him sewing of all things! LOL!

Safe travel to everyone leaving today and tomorrow. I'm a nervous flyer so trying not to think about it!
