Hello! I don't post much on the boards but I am constantly lurking. Just wanted to introduce myself as we will be joining you all on the 10/6 Magic cruise. I can't wait! It is our first Disney Cruise (and my first cruise ever!). I LOVE WDW and we are going there a couple days before embarkation. Here is our cast:

We are also traveling with my MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL, and two nieces. One of our friends is also traveling with her family her, mother, and her brother. We will have a big group on board!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello. I haven't checked this thread out much and I see I have a lot to catch up on. I look forward to getting to know you all before we set sail. Cheers!

We are also going to WDW the week before the cruise. will you be going to MNSSHP?

We are only going to Orlando two days early. We are planning on doing WDW all day Friday. I think we will try and do the Halloween Party on Friday night. Do they have it available on Thursday night, too?

How does it work? Do you have to purchase regular entrance tickets and than pay additional for the party? I've always wanted to go so I was so excited to see that Oct. 5 is one of the dates!

I read on these boards that they will be offering it on thursday night.
yes you need a ticket for this event . It is from 7 to midnight but you can get in with that ticket around 4pm. you will love it. I went in 2005 and had a blast.
Look for the thread that just talks about the party it will have tons of pics and all you ever needed to know.

Right now I am debating between leaving late thursday night or early friday morning. I would LOVE to do MNSSHP on Oct 5th, but i fear it's too late at night since we want to be up really early to get to the port...

We have friends coming down that week (wdw not cruise) so we might hook up with them that night and try for an IllumNations cruise. So much to do so little time!

BUT I highly reccomend the MNSSHP! We rode more durnig those 5 hours than we could all day~! And we scored like 8 lbs of candy! The Parade is wonderful! The fireworks Wonderful!!!

The MNSSHP tickets get you into the park around 4pm... officail start of the party is around 7. It does cost extra. But like I said before we felt it was worth it.

Here are the dates (which I have posted in the 2nd post of this thread along with other helpful things) The Halloween party dates for 2007...
The dates for 2007 are: September 14, 21, 28, October 1, 4, 5,9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31

We are arriving on the night of the 4th and we are going to Discovery Cove on the day of the 5th. I believe Discovery Cove closes by 5p.m. or there about so I was thinking from there, we might try to go to MNSSHP. For those who have been to Dicovery Cove, is that too much of a big day? I have a feeling we might be exhausted from the cove alone. Our other option is to head right over to Sea World from the cove (have to find out when they close) since we get in there for free with the Cove tickets. I guess we will just wait and see. If not, we will do MNSSHP after the cruise when we do WDW for 2 days. It looks like it will be going on then too...

DM had decided to join us on her first cruise also! YEAH!!

We are adding another stateroom .. but of course it is GTY. Won't know till later what it will be.

I wonder who else we can get to come with us,..hmmm ??!!

We are planning to do the MNSSHP on the 5th. I guess we'll be up late and then up early the next morning but hoping we'll get some rest on the ship....heh!

The MNSSHP is a separate ticket right? In other words it is its own park admission?

Just a quick check in from AZ.....I seem to keep getting "bumped" from the site. I was getting emails for a while when new messages appeared, but I'm still a bit new to the whole message board thing. Anyway, we are on a long Spring Break here in AZ. We have been out for 2 weeks already as of tomorrow and don't go back until the 27th.

We're already beginning our cruise countdown in our house. We can't wait.

Hi All! Just surfing the DIS when I ran across this thread. I usually can be found lurking at the DVC forums. Can you please add us to the cruise list?

It's our third cruise with Disney, but our first 7 night. We're DVC members and own at VWL.

We are fortunate enough to be in stateroom 5022. We had 5520 on our first Wonder cruise and loved it. We originally booked this trip in 5524 because that was the only SPH available at the time. It must be truly "YOMD" because last month I noticed at the DCL website that 5022 came open and switched! Here's our info:

In the last week or so I too have been "bumped". I haven't gotten any notifications that there are new posts. I did get an email from disboards yesterday but it was completely blank. They must be having some sort of problem....or maybe it's us here in AZ!

We are still on break also. Going a little stir crazy with the kiddos. Boy do I wish I was in Disneyland, lol. Counting down till Tuesday........

I'm glad I'm not the only one counting down until Tuesday when Spring Break is over. The kids are really going stir crazy and my house is a total mess!!!
The weather is too icky to do too much outside......Way too much T.V., computer and video games going on in this house!!!

My daughter's dance class is dancing a Disneyland on April 21st. It's going to be one of those crazy, insane Friday night to Sunday night trips, but at least it'll be a little Disney fix for us.

Our spring break started today... Weds we drive 6-8 hours to Ohio to visit family for a couple of days. I am looking forward to it. Kids are pretty good in the car... I hope that trend holds true for this trip. lol

Ok, a bit off topic here but what dance school does she go to? My daughter used to go to Dancenergy and is dying to start back again. I loved it there but it is just too far for me to go, especially since she is of company age now. I am looking for a school that is closer to us. How old is your daughter again? Mine is 6.
