Your observation on poutine is correct.
The concoction of french fries, gravy and cheese curds, is huge in Quebec and popular through the rest of Canada. Myself I'm not a big fan of poutine but the DW enjoys an order when we're in Montreal.

I do however enjoy the steamed hot dogs aka steamie's. Topped with mustard and exrtra chou (pronounced shoe). Chou is French for cabbage but in this case means an oil and vinegars coleslaw, IMHO much tastier than sauerkraut.

I'm originally a Big Apple girl and grew up on egg creams. And no, there's no egg or cream in them, but they are delicious (seltzer water, milk, and chocolate syrup--beware, these ingredients must be added in the proper order, otherwise you'll get a boatload of foam).

And, what the hey, I'd try the poutine and the steamies. As I always tell my kids and DGD, you can't eat with your eyes!

Well, I'm from Atlanta, home of the World's Largest Hotdog Stand called the Varsity. Now, you've got to be a grease eating pro to eat here. This is not for the faint of stomach. My husband hates it! LOL But I've been eating here every Sunday since the dawn of time, and since it was built when my dad was in high school he has all of his stories about how he used to take a date there for $2 and now it costs $30 to take the family. A dog with fries and an FO. MMMMMM I think I just drooled a little bit!

I'm not sure about fries and cheese curd, but if you bring it I'll try it! LOL Heck, I'm even trying haggis when I go to visit a Scotish friend next year. I figure if I'm doing that, what's a little chesse curd among friends!

We did not receive our cruise documents as of yet. On the week-end the DW checked on the Disney Cruise LIne web site and we has an assigned cabin.
We went from a category 12 to an 8.

Not too shabby.

We can participate in the room tours...we have regular cat 11, room 6603. By the way, the other people listed behind me (MIL, SIL) probably would not be participating in the room tag or anything like that.

And we are totally interested in the margarita tasting but won't know until we're on board and if DD is napping, we have a babysitter, etc.

Does anyone know if we can pack the spray tanning lotions in the checked luggage? It won't explode or anything, will it? And also the aerosol hairspray???

I'm having the same problem here too. It's been going on now about 8 years. You would not believe the boards way back when the boards on here were new. Everything was on one continueous page. Enjoyed it then, but really enjoy it now.

I'm from Greenfield Park. I went to St Jude Elementaryl, My mom still lives in Greenfield Park, we go back once and a while to enjoy the local food.

So Cool , i'm french but my best friend of those years went to St-Jude Elementary, I lived in Greenfield Park right next to Royal Georges school from 1976 to 1986 just about.

And my flights cost a tad,,, well a whole lot more LOL
