Hi!

We are sailing on the cruise with you. It's our first time and we are VERY exited. Traveling will be- me (34),DH Brian (32), DS Cade (12) and my DU (60). Both of our cabins are on Deck 6. Has anyone decided on DIS board shirts for the sail away party? Just curious. We are very interested in meeting new people. We live in GA and plan to drive down the day before the ship leaves. Has anyone ever stayed at the Raddisson at the port? Look forward to meeting everyone.

We have not stayed at the Radisson but we have reservations there the night before also. It's our first cruise too! Heard good things..

We are still out on the shirts.. kinda leaning towards buttons (so we can wear them all cruise!) Also, trying to decide when and where to meet.. you came in at a good time!!

No I havent.... I am so bad... rofl BUT I will do it now!!

As for starting other threads.. I can have everyone send me the link to their button and then post them all in one post with a poll.

I think July 20th for the deadline entries and I will keep the poll open for a 2weeks, that gives us enough time to all order them (they run about 2 bucks a button) I think that gives us PLENTY of time to work on our designs and helps break up the next 160 plus days

Giggle... glad you found it... for those who dont know, there is a link to ALL the pages of the thread on both the top and bottom of each page.

In order for others to view your button you must PUBLISH it then send me the link. I do request that everyone HOLDS OFF sending me the link until closer to the deadline, as I will LOOSE it! ROFL

I added the above info to the first post.

And for those who haven't visited the first TWO posts in this thread I have convient info not only on WHO is going, but our itinerary, Excursions windows, dining rotations/times and so forth.

What I am doing is creating something in a paint program which I will then upload to the site and fit into the button... at least that is what I am hoping to do rofl... And remember WE HAVE TIME... this is giving us something to do while waiting!

I just had to YELL I bought our PLANE TICKETS TODAY!!!! Southwest airlines. Not THE best price in the world, but as the time gets closer, I will watch like a hawk for DINGS! lol

We are flying in on Thursday Oct 4th (My birthday) so we can spend ALL day Friday at the parks! I am sooooooooooo excited!! My Boy will be tall enough to ride Splash, Big Thunder (and if we throw him on the rack.. Space giggle) and over at Epcot Test Track and Soarin!!!. Sooooooooo Magic Kingdom in the morning, then head to Epcot to ride Test Track, dinner at Tepenapmaki (spelled REALLY wrong) then an IllumiNations cruise with my BFF and her family! WOW Now I am really excited!!

So now the only really big thing I need to figure out is how are we getting to and from the airport WDW port WDW airport! rofl

Hello everyone. I think the idea of buttons is good. I am not creative at all, so I will be looking for your designs to see what is picked for our group. I would love to meet everyone. Since this is our first cruise, we have no idea as to where or when would be best to meet, so we will just go with the crowd and do what everyone decides.

Also, we are not on Cast list yet. We are myself (Ann)-41 - DH (Tommy)-40 and DS (Nathan)-14

We are having trouble trying to decide what we want to do on Grand Cayman. We have looked at some DCL excursions, and have also thought about going it on our own. Maybe an Island tour and then Sea Grape Beach. What is everyone here going to do? Any suggestions?

Since we have 'the boy' who is only 4 that limits us in what shore excurisons we can do. This seemed like fun, not to long, and swimming.

This designing buttons is fun!!

I am designing in CorelDraw with the whole file ready to be placed on the button... I don't care for the tricks the button program does.. too hard to control... "Yes, I am a control freak when it comes to design!!"

I have 4 designs ready... I have a question tho..

Should we have the button and door magnet to be similar in design? Kinda like having our own Dis LOGO? I'm lovin' this!!

Can you tell I'm bored and waiting anxiously for October??!!

Am I driving anyone crazy yet??!

Hello! I just saw that MNSSHP tickets went on sale this morning. Is anyone else going? I want to but haven't sold DH on the idea yet. We are arriving in Orlando on Thursday 10/4 and planned to do the parks on Friday 10/5. MNSSHP is both Thursday and Friday night. This means, MK will be closed both nights unless we have tickets to this party. Since DD has never traveled before, I thought we would take Thursday to relax by the pool, go to the outlet mall and out to dinner. We will get a hopper for Friday but take her to MK in the morning. Then drop her with the ILs and run quick to MGM and Epcot to go on the rides I missed out on two years ago while I was pg (Rockin Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Test Track, and Mission Space). I was thinking then to go back to MK in the evening for the party after DD has rested a bit. She will be 21 months. Does this sound do-able or like too much? Will we be missing out if we don't do the party? I've always wanted to do one and now we will be there anyway at the right time. But it is going to cost an extra $80 for DH and I to attend. Opinions???

To add to my info...we are in Cabin 6603 and have Early Seating.
