October 5, 2014 Dream 4-night Bahamian Cruise

If someone would start a facebook group for our cruise, that would be great. Im not very fb savy, but enjoy getting to know our fellow cruisers. Our daughter (13) is always asking about other kids on the cruise.

I started a private facebook group. Just let me know if you want in and include your disboards name so I only let the right people in.

Just search October 5, 2014 Dream on facebook. add the www to facebook.com/groups/252117794963565/

Count me in for the FB group - I am Melanie Carroll Portilla on FB.
Thanks!

Melanie, I can't get it to let me add you by name. Request to get in through facebook by searching October 5, 2014 Dream on facebook or add the www to facebook.com/groups/252117794963565/

It's great to see more people here - for a while there I was convinced we would be traveling alone on that ship! Hope to see you over in the Facebook group!

I'll add the group url to the first post.

I'm Kim Smith in the FB group. So excited to get to "know" you all. It is me, DH, DD4, and DD8 (ages at time of trip - me and DH age doesn't matter - LOL)

It will be me and the kids first time cruising. We booked 30 mintues after watching the Discovery channel show on Disney cruises. I'm still in shock.

We are going to do two days before and two days after at the parks.

Hi everyone!! Myself, DH, DS4 and DS2 will be going on this cruise and it will be our 5th and our boys 3rd and 2nd cruises and our FIRST time going back to back years. Last September we went on the Fantasy for 7 nights and participated in a large FE and had a blast. I truly think some of the people met and the gifts we received from our FE group is what made the trip so exciting!!! Really wanted to get on here and see how the FE group is going!

We plan on doing 4 nights following the cruise at WDW staying at All Star Sports.

Hi there I'm a first time cruiser and we will be on this cruise for our honeymoon! We really want to join a FE group!!! Please let me know where I can sign up! :)

Welcome! If you search October 5, 2014 dream on Facebook you can sign up for the FE!

Hello, myself, DH and DD11 are first time cruisers and so excited for this trip. Just met with our travel agent today to get everything going. I am interested in the FE program and an Pinterest addict so my Disney boards are filling fast. I am listed as Renee Hardin Dodd on FB so please add me to the group. Happy to "meet" you all!!!!

Welcome to our October 5 Dream Cruise group! I imagine as it gets close, our group will continue to grow!

What would be a hood Halloween costume for a 13yr old girl?
I had been thinking the same thing about costumes, since Tween pirate costumes are just a bit too revealing for my 11 year old. Google is my friend :) and for her we decided on black leggings, oversized pirate shirt, belt, tons of oversized jewelry, boots and she really wants an "AWESOME" hat or headband.

Super excited! Just booked a shore excursion.

A couple of days ago, I ran across a thread on the cruise boards telling about the Comfort Suites- Paradise Island which is just across the street from Atlantis. When you book a 1 night stay, you and your party (up to 4 ppl) get to use the facilities at Atlantis including the pools and water park.

This would cost us $510 through Disney for my family of 3. We booked directly through Comfort Suites for a total of $183 ($118 base rate plus fees). it would be an even bigger saving for a family of 4.

I may cancel up to 5 days before arrival with no penalty. They dont charge your card until you check in.:cool1:
