Guys -

I will get an updated FE list posted in the next 24 hours and update the maps as well..

Sorry I didn't get it done today but a LARGE crisis arose at work and I had to actually work today so I couldn't do it then.. I am actually off to bed here now as I have to go to the office tomorrow for a few hours to continue fixing a last minute problem that has to be resolved before I leave... FIGURES!!!

Thanks Shell for letting me text vent today.. It helped ;)

I think we can forgive you ... this time. :) :grouphug:

No problem, Kel! That's what friends are for! :):hippie:

It's just after 7 this fine Saturday morning. I've been watching the Port Canaveral web cam since 6 enjoying the sunrise and seeing our ship just waiting for our arrival next week. I know it will go fast but those boarding today will be enjoying (or not) their final meal on the ship this time next week whilst we are not sleeping getting ready to board her.

Thanks Kelly. It will give me something to read today as I am in my office since 7:00 AM with forced overtime due to someone calling out on an overtime shift. It is not one on the perks that I like that goes along with being a divison leader for our county Fire & First Training Center.

So sorry you and Kelly both have to work today. You are assured, though, that you WON'T be working next week!!!!

Kelly and Steve -

I hope your day at work goes by fast. Bummer to work on a Saturday when you do not usually do.

Thanks for the thought, but at least it is easier knowing that next Saturday it is something that i will not have to worry about, since it will fall on my our department head to deal with since he is the only level remaining above me in the department!

What webcam are you accesssing in Port canaveral to wtch the Magic. The only webcam I have come across only shows a small portion of the bow in the corner of the shot. It is a graet view if we were traveling on a Carni9val cruise!

Jaydin awoke this morning to the birds singing. She said "The birds are singing. I think they're excited about going on the cuise."

ROTFL!! Think she's been thinking about it a little????

Just got off the phone with Avis rent a car at the Cape canaveral office.

We are doing a one day rental from Orlando to Cape Canaveral and staying at the Radison. We are scheduled on the first shuttle from the Radisson to the port. I was trying to figure out how to get the car to Avis on Saturday morning and what to do with our family and luggage. Should I load the car, and family and go to Avis and return the car and take Avis's shutlle to the port, Load the car, drive the family to the port and drop them off and then return the car, and take Avis shuttle back to the port and meet the family.

When I spoke to Avis they told me that they offer complimentary drop off and pick ups at local hotels. This will work out the best, I now plan on returning the car around 7:45 am and have them bring me back ove to the Radisson and then take the shuttle we are scheduled for at 10:00 am.

Hope this info might help anyone else, as I remember some discussion on this a while back on the thread or the chat.

We're also renting a car from Avis at MCO and we'll return the car the next morning to Avis in Cape Canaveral. I think our plan is to stay together as a family and return the car in the morning to Avis and take their shuttle over together with all our luggage. I don't like that part, but I do want to stay together. We're staying the night at the LaQuinta which we got through Hotwire. I'm not happy about that, but it's one night, so we'll have to make do.

Do you know if I have to call Avis and make a reservation to ride the shuttle from the car rental to the port?

Charlene:

According to Avis in Cape Canaveral website the shuttle runs every 15 minutes to and from the port. The office opens at 7:30 AM on Saturday mornings.

The website is www.aviscapecanaveral.com .

What time are you arriving at Philadelphia for the flight down on Southwest?

Looking forward to meeting you and your family pre-flight!

No, that is the same one. Eric was logged on when it wss the only ship, and the carnival pulled up. Disney needs their own web camera.

Steve, that is the one I was watching with the bow of the Magic. When I was watching this morning during sunrise the Carnival wasn't in port yet. She pulled in around 7 after the sun came up over the horizon. You can't see much Magic when Carnival isn't there but more than you can when Carnival is there. Disclaimer:
